Wow you did a great job. Coming from someone who grew up in the bay area and has been going to Tahoe for over 30 years. Should also keep in mind that at 4000 ft. above sea level air pressure moisture level is different this can affect people with pacemakers or high blood pressure it takes some getting use to it but once the body adapts to the mountain air you never want to breath sea level air again. And yes at that altitude the weather can be unpredictable regardless of conditions at sea level
This was very helpful and well done. Cheers!
Thanks so much!! We hope you have a good future trip
Thank you for this! Planning on going this next month so I was worried about where to stay to be able to snowboard. Definitely going to consider this village.
We are happy it helped you plan your trip!! Enjoy your trip, it’s beautiful there
Love your thoroughness! Amazing coverage.
Thank you so much!!😊
As an avid skier for more than 40 yrs have been to Tahoe more times than i can even remember...Not a big fan of the restaurants you premiered here except for the Getaway Cafe in Myers...Couple other really good breakfast places you passed on the way to the Getaway Cafe was Berts Cafe and Ernies Coffee shop....As for the Italian place you went called Primo's...Eh....You need to try Cafe Fiore on sky run Blvd but bring your wallet, your gonna need it...Another fine dinning option is the Chart House on Kingsbury grade....But my favorite place to eat in Tahoe is on Hwy 89 not far from Camp Richardson and the turn for Fallen Leaf Lake called Sonnys BBQ....Am also a big fan of my go to spot after skiing a little Bar and Grill on Tahoe Blvd called Steamers....It a place where the locals go....
Yes, the getaway café was amazing! Thank you so much for all your recommendations. We debated going to chart house but didn’t end up going on that trip. We will definitely look into all these restaurants for our next trip up there 😊the BBQ place sounds great!
@@TheCompleteCouple I even had my little wedding party after getting married in Tahoe at Sonnys BBQ...You will like that place...
Thanks for info on great places to eat in Lake Tahoe! By the way, "au jus" is pronounced "oo-jhoo."
Thanks for watching!! And haha thank you we are the worst with pronunciation 🤦🏼♀️😂
Great backstory on owner of Getaway.. Women is amazing
Definitely is!!
Great information. Between January and March what would be the best month to go for first time skiers lol?
I would say beginning of March is nice as it’s not as cold and the snow isn’t as thick
$90 bucks to ride a gondala??? sheeeesh
Yes definitely pretty pricey !
Hike up then 😅 burnt some 9900 calories😅❤
❤the glacier lake is so stunning! .. seen any Muslim restaurant around South Lake? 😊 l want to do hiking around the Sierra one day ..minus the blizzard 😅
The lake was unreal it was so beautiful!! I don’t remember seeing any in the direct city center, however that is not to say there isn’t one. Yes the blizzard made things a bit difficult 😂
Yeah. .fortunately you guys were there before the blizzard hit The Sierra with 10 feet of snow. Whoaaa.
I am from tropical Malaysia.
What month of the year was this date ?
March!
Cool video. BUT it's Nevada, like @, 'at'. Nev@da
Ahhh good to know thank you!!
You should learn how to say "Nevada".....like a local.
Sadly we are nowhere near locals to Nevada so we definitely don’t say it like one haha but we will work on that
