In the fact it comes to dual gathering it not much helpful route cause it depends on the herbs too which is the completely diff zone, but in mining i have the same experience and this is smart
It's changed a couple times these last weeks and until we know more about how all the mats are gonna be used it's hard to say what's gonna be good. Especially because the quality on materials matters way more than it did in DF - I will be making a video on it soon!
Mounted gathering makes it more convenient and easier, I would only go for that if you really feel like you need it. It's probably better to go for higher ranked mats or maybe even the elemental mats. Hard to say right now
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but do you think it would be better to level druid first for a double gathering character or is there a "gather while mounted" fairly early (if ever) in the new profession trees? I've been purposefully avoiding seeing too much, to help keep the xpac new and fresh longer for myself, but want to make some choices lol.
I would add, that you can only gather herbs in flight form. You will be taking OUT of flight form when you mine, until you max out the skill tree to obtain mine whilst mounted. I tested this on the BETA yesterday as previously, I was able to gather both mine and herbs in flight form but they have since fixed mining (or broke it) Druid is still by far the best gatherer due to insta cast flight form though. Few seconds after ever node will soon add up.
Because you can get all 3 ores on this route, it's most likely to be the best one - more routes for the other zones soon!

Well getting more because you have herbalism as well is never a negative, even if your main purpose of being there is ore

No, unfortunately i would have to craft them myself on the leveling realm and i've been busy with other things - i want to test it out tho

There is a talent tree for mounted gathering, but it's not worth it to pickup early on - so i would recommend leveling a druid to avoid needing it

@@Necrottics Yea they did fix it, i mentioned this in a couple other comments on some of my other videos. But it's intentionally fixed
