I hear you guys on Grimcoven but could you please be a bit more objective and perhaps do a bit more compare and contrast with other gold class boss battlers like KDM, Aeon Trespass, and the recent Primal: the Awakening? Otherwise, you come across as just pushing FOMO on the most recent game to KS. It’s my opinion that these other three games are better, but before people just buy the latest, it would be prudent to know what else is out there in this category and how this compares on a relative basis. Do you agree?
How do you know the other three are better if you’ve never played Grimcoven? I think maybe you think the other three are better - for you. They all seem great but price and availability are also factors to consider for most people.
@@Filthyanimal9 well first, let’s stay focused on the core point about being more objective and comparing games on a relative basis in terms of mechanics, depth, innovation, and overall fun. This was clearly lacking in this video as it just comes across as pushing FOMO on the newest game in KS. That’s a disservice to board gamers as there are so many great games that are currently out there in each genre and those deserve to be highlighted when any other new game comes to market. That’s my key point and I am not trying to say my personal views of boss battlers are any more important than another person’s, but based on the extensive playthrough analysis of the prototype from multiple RUclips videos, it is my personal view that these others are better, but again, my primary point is paramount here. @@Deltium5683 all those boss battelrs are a joke anyway because 90% of the gameplay is throwing dice and drawing cards to see what happens. the game plays itself and you just watch the stuff happen.
It's the same for Dabba walla, until now I only heard negative to neutral reviews for that game.
To be fair to us - we aren't only going to talk about the BEST version of each genre. Not every game will be the best for everyone, but it might be the best for some one.
Mythic Battles AND Grimcoven in one week. MB is my favorite skirmish game, so I'm definitely in for more (no, I don't "need" but...that's never mattered before! Lol), and Grimciven looks amazing.
At least Blood is not for a few weeks. 😅
