I am so freaking glad sonos finally released a smaller subwoofer for us Sonos beam owners. I almost paid $580 for a gen 3 sub so the Mini for $430 is an impressive price point.
I have a beam gen 2 with 2 One SL’s and was waiting for the sub mini for over a year. Finally Sonos gave us what we wanted for small/medium size rooms. Love sonos ecosystem and how it integrates with apple.
Great video man! I bought the sub mini to add to the beam gen 2 and two ones and it adds a significant amount of bass. Definitely worth the money if you have a small to medium sized room
What's an approximation in square metres for a 'medium sized room'?
I have the Beam 2 and the sub mini with 2 Sonos 1's as rear's and they sound great, couldn't be happier watching movies is a pleasure.
I recently paired the sub mini with the Sonos arc and two one sl’s, and it sounds f&*$!@ Amazing! Tight bass….And widens the soundstage considerably…😀
Got the Arc with the Mini arriving soon....can't wait.

When a video is sponsored, it's fair to have some skepticism of the lack of negativity. But you could also ask questions if you have them regarding anything i say. I wouldn't do a paid review on something that's crap. Makes it easy to to the win/wins... also you can try it and always return it. Good luck and thanks for the feedback.

Do sound come from the mini because I don’t hear anything coming from the speaker but I can tell a difference in the overall sound

I have two arcs, one gen 3 sub, 3 sub minis, 4 beam gen 2’s, and 8 one sl’s. An arc/gen 3/one sl combo, an arc/sub mini/one sl combo, 3 beam gen 2/sub mini/one sl combo, and a beam gen 2 by itself.
The sub mini used to be on par in a small room with the gen 3 in a big room, or sometimes better,lately it feels nerfed for some reason.

hi, advice. my older receiver is losing channels so want to buy a soundbar setup. I live in a townhouse and my living space is 10 by 25 feet but tv section is about 8 feet by 10. I sit 7 feet from 65 inch tv. looking at Samsung 930 b, or buying an arc. I already have two sonos one, and then later maybe getting a sub. which do you suggest for a space like that? I was thinking of getting the mini down the road as being in a townhouse I would have to keep the sub low anyways so gen 3 i think would be overkill

How would you compare an Arc / One SL surrounds combo with Sub Mini vs the Sub Gen 3 in a smallish to medium size room?
I have an Arc + sub 3 in my living room and Arc + sub mini with two 1's in my basement. Basement area is small to medium and sub mini is awesome. Sub 3 is very loud, shakes up stairs with high ceilings in the living room. Sub min also shakes the floor above and enhances the arc for half the price, no brainer...
@@jpod Are you happy that you went with a second Arc in your basement area or do you think that the Beam would have been sufficient?
@@SavedByZero I went with an Arc because my wife said I could get another one and it’s paired with our largest TV in the basement/bar area (77in Oled). I have a beam in my bedroom. The beam may have been sufficient if the sub mini was available when I made the purchase. Also thought quality of atmos would be better in the arc.

While yes this is essentially a paid ad, and I can’t hate the hustle, he’s not lying in it. I own the same set up but the gen 1 beam and what he says is accurate. Great bedroom set up for those who are in Sonos ecosystem
I had the gen 3. Then I returned for the mini. 10 days later I’m returning the mini. I bought the gen 3 again. Gen 3 is just a monster of a sub. The look is more appealing as well.
Gen 3 is great. Just harder to justify 2x cost on a sub for the beam..
Will this mini sub pair with old play bar
I have the Vizio 5.1 soundbar setup and for what I paid for it it sounds great. Deep bass and really balanced sound up front.
I'm sure the Sonos sounds better but you have to have the budget for it.
I have the Beam 2 and sub mini in one room, and a Vizio 5.1 in another. The Sonos is clearer and more refined, but all things considered, the Vizio was a steal for the price!
I can’t wait to get the Sub mini.. currently saving ^__^= it’s going to be great with my BeamGen2 and Sonos one surrounds.. Not too much crazy bass. I think it will appeal to a lot of families.
Sub mini and a Beam Gen2 is cheaper than a standalone Arc. Well if I had £900 and didn’t already have any Sonos speakers I’d get both of those instead of the Arc.

I think you could go mini but also sub gen3 would better slightly better yet. Either would work well

I believe you can add any 2nd sub as long as it's S2 capable but I'm not 100 it would substantial to add to the sub3. Let me know how that goes if you do

I just got the Bose Sub 500 module and connected it with the Bose Tv speaker and I am impressed but once they release the Bose 600 dolly atmos soundbar I will upgrade to that

Nope I wrote the script. I didn't add negative as it was a sponsored video. However this really no downside to this product. It's half the price of the sub gen3 and probably 75% of the power so it's going to sell.

Man I think the something wrong with your sound setup. Maybe your mike, There a lot of Sssss when you speak and barely any bass.
Then that's your system, not necessarily his production.

I can tell you I paired it with my Sonos arc and it sounds great! just bring the sub closer to your seating area so you don’t have to turn it up so much! It doesn’t mess with the arc’s sound signature. and it widens the soundstage nicely! Hope this helps a bit!

@sonos mine won’t connect, I was on hold for 1 hr with customer service after I tried everything on their “help” page the night before. “Luis” worked with me for an hour only to get cut off as I was resetting and unplugging everything including my phone which I raised as my concern. He said not to worry and gave me a case # so I could through quick if that happened. Once we were disconnected I made contact again and provided my case # which they had no record of. I had to go back into the que and needless to say after spending almost 3 hours with this company on my Saturday morning I wasn’t about to do that. Poor customer service, poor connectivity which is unacceptable price of these speakers. Especially since I was simply adding one speaker to my existing Sonos setup. I Do not recommend this product @sonos.
