I have been wanting a binder system, but I'm a visual person, so cover art is an essential step in my movie selection. This binder might be a great solution for me! Thanks for showing it in action.
I bought a steel case off eBay that holds 800-1k DVDs/ blu-rays. It came with 420 sleeves that holds dvds/blurays and also holds the cover art without cutting it in half. Paid $89.99 free shipping.
Love your video. I have an extensive collection also and binders are the most logical system. Specially with space being limited. I hadnt seen this awesome binder. I actually didn't keep any of the art but from now on this will be my preference 😁 thank you for sharing so much valuable information
I haven't noticed any scratches besides the ones that were already there. I think my discs get scratched more from inserting and ejecting from the PS3 haha.
I'd like to see the updated video with more of your collection in more binders please! Can you still find these binders, i need to do something about the space in my small apartment. Thank you!
It's actually not too bad. I created a filing system. So I use piece of software called CollectorZ and I have each binder with a letter and all the pages are numbered. So basically say if I wanted to watch Iron Man, I can either open the software or look at my physical index and find Iron Man and it will tell me the location is Binder F-32 so I go grab Binder F and go to page 32 and there's Iron Man. (pretty sure I mentioned it in the video, but can't remember). When you have limited space and have 1000+ movies, you gotta figure out something that works for you. This works great for me but it may not be ideal for others. I'll have to make an updated video.
I use binders to store my collection and honestly it isn't that much of a pain or a pain at all. Having them in binders is better once you have more than hundreds which the video explains. It works for some.
I have around 2000 dvds/blurays. I recently moved the majority of them into binders. Have a couple of 300 plus case logic cases. 2 lockable Vaultz cases. I'm worried bout scratching. I value my collection. Was wondering if you've had any problems with the binders scratching the discs.
This looks great. Have you had any issues with damaged discs using this case or anything along those lines? I think if the binders are stored and handled carefully they are safe enough for discs like any method of storage.
discs?.....too much messing around...gunna b a thing of the past soon.....i used to lend out MY movies but not many people even own a dvd/blyray player now🤔😪most people stream ther movies....and play on ther cheap 4k tv's.....Netflix etc is a good example!....
...of a streaming service that doesn't have what's already in my physical movie collection, but wants me to pay money every month to their service. Fuck them.
someone comes into your house and grabs your entire collection when you get robbed. The Slim Disc system is way better & much cheaper, simple & easy, and non destructive to your artwork www.slim-disc.com demo ruclips.net/video/PyIIKIQ4zLk/видео.html
They'll be shot before that happens, so good luck! BESIDES, who wants to steal a bunch of DVDs that are not worth anything anymore? It's not a major lost to me therefor, not a big deal. Thanks for the comment, I'll check out the slim disc though. Might be another solution for my movie collection.
Good space-saving solution, but it sucks that you had to cut up the cover art.
Thank you so much for this review!!! I have nearly 5000 DVDs and blu Ray's and they were taking over my life and space!
Glad I could help!
I got lots too.....'thinking of converting all my movies and linking up to my pc
@@gerry4585How would this save space?

Where can I get a program like that on my laptop and is it for just certain desktops or laptops ???
Collector Z, check it out.
Have you had any problems with disks getting scratched and not playing or skipping?

I can make an update video for sure. Just waiting on some new camera equipment for videos.
Seems like a bit of a pain having to flip through everything to find your movie.

+melvinbutchhoot I haven't noticed any scratching yet.
Nice job
You can't get this in Ireland.
I own 918 movies and I'm 12.By the time I'm 80 is this going to be a logical choice for when my movies grow? You do the math
By that time you won't be purchasing movies in a physical form.

I haven't noticed any damages. Yes you are right, as long as you are careful it will be fine.
Many Thanks for your reply. I will be using this binder for my collection. They are a Great space saver.
Do they scratch the discs
Not that I've noticed so far.
are the cds sleeves removable?
+omar martinez Yes.

I also prefer the sound from Blu-Rays and even some DVDs have DTS which sound soooo much better than Netflix.
