    I just bought these and are great for storing DVD and Blu-ray's. Only thing now is finding a container that will work. Also maybe something that will help stand still on a shelf

    great video, I use binders but am thinking about doing this as I like the ay teh artwork can be kept with the disc. Have you had any damage to the discs or anything like that using this method?

      @@John-zl7rj So sorry I missed your question! I haven't had any issues with my discs getting messed up. I really don't watch them that often though so they don't get moved around that much. Since this video, I have been buying more digital movies and have converted some of these to digital as well. I use Vudu and Movies Anywhere for my digital collections.

      I got this bin from either Marshall's or Ross.

    Where did you buy the baskets that you stole the dvds in?

      They came from Marshall's. You can possibly find some similar styles at TJ Maxx or Home Goods too.

    If you organized by numbers it works so much better.but trying to get your husband is so much harder.

    It was great - until you stored them on the floor!!

    • @PixieDustLane
      @PixieDustLane  5 лет назад +1

      Not sure what's so bad about that considering they were in a bin and in plastic protectors. They only ended up being there for a few months anyway before we moved. The movies I still have stored this way are now inside a different TV stand.

      PixieDustLane the floor is not good for storing things but glad they are now stored properly.

    Why the... What the ...omg, what is wrong with you¿¿¿ That's dumb lol but they're yours to scratch up 😁😁😁 I'd never do that

      I am happy to inform you that the discs have not gotten scratched up. I'm not sure if you watched the entire video, but I have the discs in a protective sleeve inside the bigger pouches to prevent scratches. I mention that around the 5:30 mark.

      @@xinn8133 I take very good care of my things. I don't watch these movies often so they don't get shuffled around very much. Any scratches my discs may or may not have are not directly caused by this system. I can honestly say the movies I have watched that are stored this way played for me without any issues and I did not notice any scratches caused by the sleeves. I mostly buy digital movies now and have since converted some of these movies to digital as well so I don't have as many discs to store anymore. This video is just a suggestion for those looking to decrease the amount of space their collection takes up. You do whatever works for you and if you are that concerned about scratches then of course keep your movies in the cases. :)

      Cool. ..I bought one of them used DVDs from family Dollar and it had scratches, so yeah, I was thinking maybe I could use this idea for DVDs like them ones I got scratched ...oh, it's them DVDs without cases and they just come in sleeves that I'm referring too. But yea ... Awesome buddy 😁
