I don't think this man really knew how many lives he would affect...I don't think he really knew how special he was.
He died a few years before i was born, but i still wish he was alive, and i a strange sort of way, i acctualy miss him... Call me whatever you want, hate me, i dont give a fuck... RIP Kurt.
Thank you SO much for posting this. I was one of the people interviewed in this segment and have been searching for this video since it was originally aired in '94. Every couple of years I would try and search again and today was my lucky day. Thanks!
We miss you Kurt, you'll never be forgotten. We hope you've found peace.
I was an 18 year old High School Senior, huge event in my life.
This made me cry a bit it's crazy how now he made such a difference in the music industry and has changed so many people's perspective on music he was the greatest artist of my time (the 90s) I'm just really grateful that he had the time to share with what he was going through in his music by writing all his songs in such in awesome way! He touched so many different generations and will continue on with more to come in the near future
"come as you are"
R.i.p Kurt
Love you lots! -3
I almost started crying when I was watching this. We love you Kurt!
Thank you for putting this up. I was there that day, and apparently years later it still has the capacity to bring me to tears.
Suicide is selfish but the pain some feel isn't for anyone to judge. I guess sometimes the pain doesn't seem temporary and it feels permanent. But things usually get better.....who knows.RIP Kurt....miss ya and I never even met you. I'm 27 now and this is an odd age for some reason.
You can't blame her for calling him an asshole. She's was angry but that doesn't mean she doesn't love him. :/

Just Google "Kurt Cobain Courtney Love vigil speech," and you'll find the entire text of her recorded speech that was played at the vigil, including the note from Kurt that she read, along with her commentary.
Courtney: "He's such an asshole. I want you all to say 'asshole' really loud."
Crowd: "ASSHOLE!"
