    FYI for all. I struggled with the network cable option for long distance using amplifiers etc, so I went with a 100ft heavily shielded amplified hdmi cable from Amazon. Power was from usb outlet at the other end by the touch 50. Works great and much simpler option.

      @fredhoppe2286 - Could you point me to the heavily shielded hdmi cable you used from Amazon please?

      They have different lengths. I used this one. It is directional so be sure you’ve got the input/ output properly aligned

    feb04’24/0050h 🇺🇸 Sir, thank you for the presentation. I have CERBO-GX 50 for almost 3+ years. To extend the HDMI cable to 100 meters was tested with UHD HDMI cable ($78/ gbp 62) with an in-line amp, made it work well. I dismantled the cables because, the process was only to test. I reverted to CERBO-GX original installation. Once connected, I haven’t looked at the device. The device is fixed on the wall closer to the other devices. I watch the my PV system performance on smart TV 75” or iOS or OS X devices from any where in the world through VICTRON VRM system. The firmware upgrading is programmed on auto installation because CERBO-GX is on network. Thank you once again. Cheers and respects.

    The overall maximum length of a USB 2.0 run is 25 meters with a non-powered starting cord. The maximum cord length for USB 3.0 and 3.0 is now 15 meters.

    Helpful stuff, but close ups of the gear and ports would be good. Greetings from Spain.

    Which male to female HDMI CORDS are known to work well with the touch 50? A certain grade or gold plates, branded ?

      You can do that. Or you can power the screen from another USB socket if you want to. Depends on how you want to install it.

    Has anyone tried the wireless HDMI transmitters?

    • @bruceb1958
      @bruceb1958 4 месяца назад

      You can't. It needs the actual wires in the cable.
