It’s a wonderful idea I think more companies should learn from this. I just got the Beta AR from you guys ✌🏼

Really loved this until I saw that labels should be left in. If it is a knock off then you should be able to tell from the quality but don’t throw away good gear because someone cut out an uncomfortable label

      I have the same problem.
The service claims to be sustainable and civic-minded, but it's far from reality. I sent a new item to join a community and a civic mindset, but all our exchanges have destroyed this desire. The service is abusive and dismissive with a total lack of respect and answers that linger.
Customers should have the choice of taking back their property. Especially when the reason for rejection is anything but durable.
There's no one better than the service to assess an item, and when they refuse to return it, that's called theft. But once your item is in their possession you have no other choice but what they will offer you.
So my advice is to think twice before putting your trust in this service, which is totally incoherent with the marketing pitch.

Mmm I'd say it's more because if you remove labels from an original garment you could potentially sew it on a very good knock off and sell it, damaging the brand's reputation.

Arc'teryx just declined my warranty request and offer to accept my ski pants under this program. The offer was a $90 gift card/credit for a pair of 2014 sabre ski pants with a broken pocket zipper I was looking to get repaired under warranty. Less than a 100 days of use. (East Coast Skier...)

Not sure if it’s a complaint but something is better than nothing, along side Patagonia I don’t know of any other brand that at least will give you something instead of nothing for old products you bought from them

@@willypro4949 Here's the end of the story if you're interested. I'm sharing this because I feel that Arc'teryx doesn't stand behind its products as it once did. Instead, it has prioritized making business decisions to drive additional sales.
After I voiced my complaint and declined the $90 gift card, Arc'teryx decided to honour their limited lifetime warranty and repaired the zipper.

    Fell in lust.
It’s just easier to sell used gear on marketplace or eBay. Arcteryx doesn’t pay anything for used gear.

Beware! Be very careful ordering research as I have had several bad experiences with Arcteryx and poor attention to detail. I ordered a Cerium jacket used obviously great condition says on website then when they ship it I notice on the shipping invoice it states professionally repaired under arms. What you didn't disclose that before the sale. Then a pair of Gamma pants XL easy enough I own others and arrive as XL TG meaning tall so they don't fit. Hassles and a disgrace honestly for what used to be a quality company

and the lack of refunds is just silly at the price point! I wear different sizes depending on the product line and to take a gamble on a few hundred dollars is ridiculous!!

These jacket are so expensive and they are made in China .

  • @avanvalenziano

Absolutely stupid that returns are not allowed. Sizing changes year by year, and product line to product line. I wear a 28 Short in men's pants but have only had 1 pair of Arc pants actually fit me in that size. Love these products, but they are not cheap and to take a couple hundred-dollar gamble on something that may or may not fit is absurd! Take a lesson from Patagonia's Worn Wear and allow for refunds on used items bought online!

What a BS video and BS company. I have a freeride jacket that I've taken care of like a baby, the skirt that prevents the powder from going up the jacket got unglued this last season (and so did other seams). I sent it for repair (paying) and they just said that the jacket is too old (5 years) and therefore it cannot be repaired. First is a testiment of the low quality, then, is a testiment of the null commitment of this brand to sustainability.
