Well, the game calculates the type of victory in terms of Gold Value/CP damage received throughout a battle, so the Doomwheels getting damaged and losing HP counts towards that, even if none of them is actually destroyed. Still funny regardless.
@@bigbadbob7070Yes, the amount of ammunition your ranged units have left also counts towards their individual CP and thus the total CP of the army. Though it's odd that I've never had a "Phyrric Victory" from one of my many cheesy sieges where I use nothing but a very small task force of two Plagueclaw Catapults and two Skryre buffed Ratling Guns (The Ratling Guns rarely finish the assault with their ammo mostly replenished). Even though I've gotten countless "You are losing ground" notifications from the Catapults depleting their ammunitions.
2:43 the best part about this is that I also went, "Oh fuck": most of the endgames feel distinct enough in their own ways despite their flaws, but only A Grudge Too Far seems to come off unfun with its execution. I'm glad you found at one small way to make it more entertaining (that doesn't involve a player encountering it for the 1st time and watching them shit themselves)
