Don't really know how I feel about the golds and legendaries being nonfoil tbh. I can understand the reprints, but i dont get why the gloryfinder exclusive cards at least didnt get a normal foil printing I'll still probably pick one up though
This looks legit. Great review. I really love MTG Commander, so this is up my alley for sure, and my friends as well. My BIG QUESTION THOUGH: if Gloryfinder cards are straight up better than regular SVE cards...won't there eventually be enough cards in print to have an entire deck full of exclusively Gloryfinder cards? And there wouldn't be any point to using regular SVE cards? Or did I understand wrong, they are exclusively used as Glory cards that your Leader starts with?
Theoretically, yes. You might eventually be able to have a deck full of Gloryfinder exclusive cards. However, I'd like to point out two things: 1) While the cards are generally better than the average SVE card, they might not be super synergistic when you're ONLY playing them. So you'll have a deck full of haymakers with nothing tying them together. 2) Much like MTG's Commander format, Gloryfinder can have the politics and self balancing that Commander enjoys. So if you keep playing insanely powerful cards and get a clear lead over everyone else, the other 3 players can form an alliance to defeat you. It's a different aspect to consider compared to 1v1.
...8 cost, brings tons of followers from grave to hand, no max hand size for the rest of the game...as an 8/8???.......did they just put praetor's council (the mtg card) on an 8/8 CREATURE?????

can I use the leader on standard format?
When glory finder's comes out. Will the devks be sold separately as well as be able to be bought as a bundle?
Nope. I wish they were separated. But it's only the bundle.

Gloryfinder exclusive cards are SUPER overpowered by design - definitely not something you're going to see in the standard format!
