I have enjoyed your video, you have made a lovely tunic. I love your choice of fabric and print. Keep sewing your videos are very well done, just love the fact you take the time to show your mistakes and how you don’t give up and find the solution.I agree with you that the pattern companies do not make it easy with the lack of information. Please keep doing your videos.Thank you.
Really appreciate all the hard work you did to do this tutorial. I didn’t sew along but I will definitely be doing it after I heal from my surgery. I get my gallbladder out January 14. So I’ve just been taking it easy and relaxing. I have finished my bootstrap pants form and did skirt muslin and the real skirt. It’s almost finished. I have too much fullness in the back. Hopefully tomorrow I can figure it out. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Merry Christmas, Victoria! I hope you're enjoying the holiday and know that you're anticipating the surgery. My thoughts will be with you on January 14. (Spoiler alert for my Christmas video - I had my gallbladder taken out earlier in December. Thankfully, it was not as scary or painful as I had anticipated, and I pray that you experience the same.) ❤️
Very well put together video. I did not sew along with you, but know I will use this to make my tunic (after the holidays). I had planned on following along, but discovered had made 3 tunics. Two are a butterick pattern for sweat shirting, wonderful for winter. The other is a pattern from Simplicity. I like the Tunic bible because it has a variety of ways to style tunics, one pattern to wear different ways. Merry Christmas!
Great construction flow! I have never done a blind hem, but I’m going to give it a go. A tunic is a great opportunity to do some creative embellishments too. Tutorials are a lot of work, thanks for doing it for us.
That hem turned out surprisingly well! I think it helps to have a fabric with a print so maybe it's more difficult to see the wee stitches? Thank you for watching!!
Great video. Lovely tunic. When you first mentioned your tunic plans, I got the book from the library. The photos in the book are gorgeous! I’m glad you simplified the instructions in this video. I ended up ordering a tunic pattern after reviewing the book. A tunic is now on my sewing bucket list. You outdid yourself in 2024 with this YT channel. Can’t wait to see what’s planned in 2025 (no pressure, though). Merry Christmas.

Thank you, Trudy! Merry Christmas to you, too! ❤️
Looks great on you! Thanks for the inspiration.
Looks great, Janine! I learn so much by watching others sew. You have inspired me to make a tunic - maybe once the weather warms a bit.
You can do it!

Zelda, I think you might like the book! Maybe you can find it at a local library?
That looks great. I may have to crack that book again! Thank you for sharing.
Yep - I didn't crack mine open for eight years! It's a classic style so hopefully we will all be sewing tunics for many years.
Looks great on you. Great tutorial.
Merry Christmas.
Thank you, Deb. Merry Christmas!!
Very nice , looks great on you. Funny I have the same ironing board cover as you 😅
Ah Dolores - you have such great taste! I'm glad I am not the only one with a marble print ironing board. Happy New Year!
