AE92 and AE101 are just the calls here
But if you make it specific AE92 and AE101 are the sport models because of the AE86 engine/4A-GE
theres also other codes for smallbody like AE91(4A-FE), EE90(2E), AE95(5A-FE)
while the bigbodys are the AE100, AE105, CE100(i guess but CE are the letters)
Altho the variants are GL, SE Limited, GT(4AGE one), etc

Well were on the same position
I just know the chassis codes but i happened not to own one
But if im going to buy an old car
I prioritize the condition of the engine, chassis and body condition, including the underchassis which is the bone of the vehicle.
Just find some owners who happen to own a second hand car
Maybe they might give you some advice?

Atleast the important ones who needs good condition are the bone and heart of the car, they're way expensive to repair in my opinion
A Window not going down? Im fine with it, as long as the 2 fronts are working hahaha. Rollover windows? Im ok with that as long as ull get fresh air, but i still have trust issues with automatics below 2000 even if i dont own one
