    You really need to show these reviews with slower swing speed of ie 75. If I was swinging at 95 I wouldn’t be buying these clubs.

      My thoughts exactly!

      I'd just like to see more realistic "on course" golf swings. Not these 96 mph swings trying to flex swing speed on the trackman. Long hitting tour pros rarely even swing a 7i 95 mph, and this guy is up here trying to rip 97 mph swings.

      Major problem with most internet reviews… they tend to all be better players with the club speed that goes with it….. they went though a stage of having female testers and this is probably the way to go if your using high level testers to bring the swing speed down

      Makes sense to me. I sue them as adjustments towards my 85 mph swing

    I recently switched to the 2023 p770s and i really love them. Best irons i have ever had with a shaft that suits me very well. I never took to the p790s and preferred other brands and models till now even though my swing speed is not high and i am in my 70s. But the accuracy and consistent distances i get from the p770s are going to be very heard to beat.

    The 2021s were the sexiest.

    I play MP-18's and have since they came out. I just went and got fit for these and what blew me away was not the distance, it was the dispersion. As he said it just was the same shot over even with off center hits. I am an 8 hc, but I went for the full 4-PW. I was tempted to go for a mixed set, but I found I could work the ball with the scoring clubs. I may regret that, but we will see. They look and feel great though.

    Looking forward to your next video comparing the new model to the 2021 version...will help answer if it's worth an upgrade!

      Short answer no. I've seen similar videos comparing Mizuno and Titleist irons, and they are all roughly the same.
      Anything in the last 5 years will be the same, more or less.

    I have the '21s. I’ve really got serious about golfing in the last couple years and I did the full fitting for them. Impressed in every way and then some. Don’t think I’ll be upgrading just yet. Kind of prefer the looks of mine anyway.

    They are hot I was in the colony store and I hit 195 carry and 205 distance with 5 iron at 84 mph speed. Of all the irons I tested in the store from equivalent titleist ping mizuno the 770s were the longest.

    Hi guys! So assuming someone’s irons are too long for them, the impact location tends to be where? The shot direction tends to be where?
    Also, as far as static measuring, do you still do wrist to floor or knuckles to floor?
    What length would generally constitute going down a 1/4 inch? I know static is not as important as the actual delivery, but as a general guide.
    Thank you!!

      It’s not about your handicap, it’s about your ball striking. There are plenty of mid to high handicap that are really good strikers with their irons, but suck at short game, putting, maybe not the best with a driver, so that’s what is killing their handicap. That’s why people really just need to get fitted. Obviously if you can’t break 100 these aren’t your clubs and you need something different.

    Will this be the last generation of the P-790 or will Taylormade continue this popular model into the future?

    If you average over 100 feet in the air with greater than a 45 degree landing angle...you can have 200 RPM and still stop it on the green.

    So, a 30 degree 7 iron?? Should it not be a strong 6 iron…

  • @korkeiw
    @korkeiw Год назад +9

    I don't understand why you would want a 7 iron that goes 190 yards. Out of your 14 clubs half of them become only for over 200 yards, when under 100 is the scoring zone.

    • @tylerjoseph1539
      @tylerjoseph1539 Год назад +3

      For that exact reason. If you only need 6,7,8,9 irons then you can have more wedges and less long irons

      I want hit is as far as the pros so I want it to go 200 yards all day. Especially if you play in a windy area your not reaching this yardages anyway.

    Look incredible, but for $1300, I don’t think so! Takomo irons are looking REALLLLY good and you can have those for under 600!
