@@JeremiahAlphonsusI have just slightly above-average swing speed, 250 yd total driver, and ZX7 in 6 iron works fine with Steelfiber i80 stiff. 5 iron though? Nah.
@@lkae4 I play my ZX5 6 & 7 irons with Dynamic Gold Mid 115 shafts. I recently ordered the ZX5 5-iron, but they didn't offer the same shaft any more, so I got it with the Nippon Pro Modus3 105 shaft. Very good. In fact I recently hit one of my best shots ever with it, a 180 yd par 3 tee shot to within 18 inches of the hole for birdie.
@@adambarnes4191 I still play it every other round. I play 2-3 times a week and they still look capable to go for another 5 years. Great irons! I just want some shiny new irons after 8 or 9 years. 😀
I have the T150’s and they are awesome… however I went with T200 for 5 and 4 irons and they fly too far!! Need to get them bent to fit my gapping… more people need to try the T200’s !!
Not a fan of the players distance category. Love the T150 shape and forgiveness, do not need a CG that low. Much prefer the original AP1 from 2008 that had the bigger footprint and forgiveness, but kept the traditional lofts. Super low CG is great on thin misses, but anything above the sweet spot is dead.
I have played a set of PING i230s last year and I love them--especially the long irons. They are very playable and workable.
Great feedback. We've heard the same from many golfers
Spent the weekend testing players distance irons came home with Srixon Zx 5's. Played 2 rounds never been happier with consistency
ZX5s are superb. Not surprising that they're working great for you!
Played golf with Brian and he really knows what’s up 👍🏻
He sure does!
Srixon players have won the last two PGA tournaments (Hideki & Keegan). I recommend a blended set of ZX5 in 5-7 and ZX7 in 8-P.
I bet if they played a Ping Eye 2 set, they would've broke the course record.
@@mugshotmarley I recently picked up a persimmon Eye 2 driver for $25. I occasionally use it as a kind of trainer.

Bettinardi CB24! I finally found a replacement for my Bridgestone J15CB. Vega irons are good too.
Underrated irons for sure!
Still can't quit my j15cb's. Those 770 may push them for next year.

When is 2nd swing coming to South East Florida? Port Saint Lucie is a great place. 😊
ZX7 is a low-spin forged players iron with more than a dash of forgiveness. I think it's a classic on the level of AP2 and i210.

T200s are explosive, no doubt!
Top 5 Irons:
1. Ping Eye 2
2. Ping Eye 2
3. Ping Eye 2
4. Ping Eye 2
and finally 5. Ping Eye 2
No Mizuno just makes the list invalid 🤷♂️
