That's how I feel like I'm pulling behind my head not off the corner of my mouth. So I just need shorter mods ? To shorten up my draw. Think my bow is a 29. But not sure what my draw should be. My groups are tight but just feels like I'm pulling behind my head. I don't know If it's my release or maybe just my draw length is just really to long. So that means I need to shorten up my arrows as well right. ? Just getting into it this year. So I went all out. Or maybe I need to go to. A pro shop and start all over. ?
Run into a shop and have them look at your DL and go from there!

These days getting the draw length is not easy. Wrist index finger release, thumb release, release length, D loop length. I used to be a 30" Guy, down to a fraction of an Inch, shooting fingers. OK that was nearly 25 years ago, now I'm shooting 29". This is all down to modern equipment.
I have a mathews lx bow . Is there a mod for the single cam ?
Unfortunately you have to change the cam on that bow, no draw length mods for it
Apreciate the video, definitely learned something here. I do have a question on the mathews mods with draw length, have you noticed them being 1/2in longer than other bows? I've read a few comments online about it. For instance the C mod which is 29in on a v3x29, would that be actually a 29.5in draw length compared to other bows?
I have not! typically when they don't match up it is a ATA issue or a tuning issue with the cables
WhT about your peep sight, doesn't that usually change when you are changing the dl?
As long as your anchor point remains consistent moving the Peep won’t have to happen

Correct! As long as they have kids for it and the bow supports your draw length

80lb to 70lb modes on the lift,,,,yoy think 350 spine would work for both mods, i dont want to buy extra arrows
Without knowing your arrow I’d say 300 spine for 70lbs and 250 for 80 just as a general statement
I changed my mods from a longer to a shorter draw length and now my arrow fishtails when I shoot it any idea why?
Sounds like you need to paper tune to see what’s going on! I’m sure that will shed some light
@@j2carchery I will have to just odd it was perfect at 29 inch draw and when I put it to 27.5 it’s all over
@@anihmal7849well going shorter you arnt pushing as many fps so your arrow may be too long now and under or over spined which would cause a bad tune because of the change!
