      Yeah, the community has become very toxic full of kids badmouthing everyone and everything while not understanding nor appreciating the game. It's almost pointless to go into any comment section on NBA related posts. I believe most fans only care about the game and couldn't care less about the drama, while the ones messing everything for the rest of us are really just a loud minority

    I don’t know s**t about basketball. Played in 6th grade and HATED it. I was a gymnast and cheerleader. I was the tiny girl big dudes launched into the air to do wild stuff and won multiple state & national titles doing it. So I don’t know b-ball, but I do know competitive athletics. However, my bf got me watching the Mavs this year, and I fell in love with basketball. I’m OBSESSED. This pod is helping me understand the sport. Thanks fellas.

    it's crazy how there are so many casuals out there thinking JJ Reddick was an average or role player back then. This dude was putting up 18ppg at 34 and had multiple seasons where he shot above 45% from 3 with crazy high volume. Dude is one of the best shooters in NBA history.

    Man I wish my dad was still alive to watch these kinda shows with me. He passed away unexpectedly in 2013 at just 45yo. (Crazy enough Kobe died on my dads bday so that day really sucked that year lol) The game itself, the way it’s played, the way it’s talked about like this pod, and other podcasts with ex players.. man he’d love this shit.       ESPN did Kobe so dirty by hiding Detail behind a paywall, save for the occasional clip. I get that they wanted to sell ESPN+ subscriptions but the show would've grown so much more had they just posted the series on YT from the go.

    Saw JJ at the Philly-Miami game this past week and told him that although i know he said that Athletes breaking down the game doesnt get views, its what ppl like me want. He literally was so ahead of the game he told me then that they were dropping this talk show with Lebron. That made me so happy, Shook his hand, said thanks and wished him much blessings.
