- Ever since Patch 1.10 introduced the new powerful Runewords, Runewords started to replace Unique Items and turned out to be the dominant parts of a Character's gear. Since they can have a great impact on your builds and pretty much every high end build relies on some demanding Runewords, High Runes became the desire of every player. Even though their rarity was reduced significantly on Patch 1.13, it's still a huge grinding process finding few of those. Investing time and developing a character around a rewarding area is perhaps the most effective way to obtain them.
The Secret Cow Level run by a Javazon is known to be one of the best combinations for this task. The Javazon below is fully optimized for Cow runs, build to even deal effortlessly with Terrorized Cows at players 8, hitting every necessary break-point, dealing massive damage and taking advantage of every little detail to make the rune grinding journey as profitable as possible.

Thank you for the statement right at the beginning about high runes being rare, there's so many videos where people are like "Do this and you'll get high runes" like no buddy I wont.
i do 2h MooMoo and 2h CS a day and get 2-5 hrs so its all about killspeed ;)

go trade on trade websites and you will get high runes really fast. Just deleted all my ladder accounts with 1000+ ber runes. Got so boring. Hopefully next season will be more fun again. First two weeks before bots have taken over is the most fun.

I have tried some different variations of the Java zon to spice up the fun factor. One I liked used carrion wind, vine creeper. Plague javelin, and lightning fury, conviction merc, and medusas gaze shield for lower res when struck.
finally someone else who understands that teleport speed is more important than pierce for overall speed and saftey.
The Amazon in the beginning looks sooo much better than the In-Game-Amazon.
I see the Enigma in the gear setup and ask myself the most basic but fundamental of questions. What came first, the chicken or the egg?
This, I once said below an llama video that all his builds are cool etc but calling starter/budget stuff and wearing enigma is just ridiculous.
No clue if those people spent every season 500€ to buy an enigma from cash websites or if those people are really thinking that Jah and her are budget.
Imo the only budget character diablo 2 has is the sorceress. You can make her hell "playable" with runes that are countess farm able...
@@gaymohammed3137 I hate to include Enigma and try to avoid it whenever possible but it's just a game-changing item. Nothing can beat it when it comes to speed and efficiency.
@@tgexcalibur8500 that's totally fine and true for people with basic knowledge of d2 that read your guides.
A group of friends started d2 in season 3, me as always I got with the sorceress 1st efficiency 2nd I love mage based classes. All those people read up guides of what's good classes/builds to farm.
They were ridiculously surprised when noticing how much faster a Sorc is and how all those budget builds require tons of hours to work.
End of story we played trough nightmare after that 4/5 stopped playing because of "false advertising" of the builds. Since they couldn't kill anything in hell and simply died to everything.
Add Inifinity to that. All of these "builds" are basically useless on anything but P1, without Infinity and Enigma. How do you get to an end game build? Buy your stuff on jsp. Proceed to become a RUclipsr. Harsh truth.

I just looted some +4jav 196% ED Matriarchal Thunderstroke Javs from pindleskin last night HC ladder .
I’m an older player (67) and not very good, never killed Baal in hell. I’ve got a level 52 Amazon that I’m having a blast with using Charged Strike and Lightning strike. (In NM act 2) my concern is lightning immunes in Hell so I’ll start building up Plague Javelin to deal with them. Is this a good idea? ( I only play offline so no hope of getting Infinity for a long time). Thank you, very impressive build.
I don't think it's a good idea. Use a merc to deal with the immunes to beat the game and then just farm in an area without immunes. Use Jab at level 1to help you out in difficulty situations.
@@tgexcalibur8500 thank you. Since then I did kill Baal in Hell with a Hammerdin. Going to try a Javazon now as I did find the Sunder Charm for Lightening so I’m assuming that will help me out a lot.
@@peternowlan5196congrats on killing Baal man! Hope you’re still playing with the javazon cause it’s very fun to use her. As you said, use the sunder charm plus infinity on the merc if you can, then you got nothing to worry about!

Question, if you are concerned about mana etc or life and do not want to use potions why not run a Phoenix with a redemption aura? Once you slay a pack it should instantly fill up both mana and life no?
You are giving up tons of good stats mainly the FCR!
I’m thinking about buying d2r to play on my parents toaster computer (basically a glorified tablet) I am able to play d2 classic and heroes of the storm on it for references ..will D2R work?
Well I play without dedicated graphics card, but otherwise the setup is good so that's making up for it a bit. The game is not AAA++ hungry, but still needs far better gear that OG D2 would need. If you can play a low end 3D game with decent framerate it should be okay.
PS: I lower the resolution a bit, and cap the frame rate below 50 (disable dynamic).

I know it's fun to watch a screen full of monsters dies, but you spend too much time herding. You'd probably speed up your runs by killing smaller groups.
I actually share the same thoughts. I am against heavy herding mostly because of the loot clutter. I prefer targeting smaller packs.
I just uploaded a video with general Cow tips and I mention that as well. Thanks for your input.
I personally had an issue with my Javazon running out of Javs when running back to back with ethereal titans. I would keep extras in stash to swap and I thought it was ironic LOL. Herding allowed me to stretch my higher damage javs
javazon is how i do it, i have another path also!
How do you even attein all these items and charms in single player?

@@byarkan I've been playing from the original D2: Lod. The save files remain the same. You can transfer them to D2R.
I've atteined all of them on SP too, but with years of playing. My setup is very close to this one, but I don't have amu with 2 to skills and 10% fcr.
@@tgexcalibur8500 Bro you have no idea how much of a gigachad you are right now. I was this close to getting burned out farming for that one more Ber rune to make and Enigma in d2r and there you come out of the blue, telling me that I can transfer my old saves (which it's a miracle I kept) and now I can finally have some fun and make a necro and druid, with an Enigma. And I have a decked out light sorc (ssf) from two years ago with all the goodies.

Yes it does!
In my experience, after hundreds of cows and travincal runs, travincal has being way better for me rune wise. The setup is awesome tho.
Never done a dedicated Trav Run but with a Barbarian I believe it's definitely a better place. Thing with me is that I can't stand farming a spot for 20-30 secs and repeat. I prefer farming in a location that has a duration!

Tstrokes are unnecessary with high end gear elsewhere. Titan's Revenge still basically one shots all cows at p1 and gives faster r/w to boot. I've also never found javazon to be particularly desperate for mana, so the boots can easily be ditched for war travs or treks. Dropping razortail also majorly nerfs lightning fury and the +1 skills arach gives is absolutely not worth it, particularly given that you had to sink multiple more points into pierce just to compensate in the first place.
Yes, I think Titan's Revenge is still a great choice but as I mention in the video my goal is to slaughter cows at P8 while also terrorized. Extra damage will help in that situation.
Personally, I always had issues with mana. Not quite sure how you get away with it but in any case, against cows there aren't much better options for boots anyway.
Arach's grants 20% FCR which helps reach a difficult breakpoint and makes teleporting so much smoother. I've tested razortail with this build and I really didn't notice much of a difference.
@@tgexcalibur8500 No matter what, Zons Teleport is still a slower way to move around in cows than stacking some FRW and using a Harmony swap.

You may try something different - with large fonts. It really depends how your audience consumes the content. If I am the only one on the phone it will be just fine 😉

way slower then normal javazone with frw... fcr is only important to areas where you haave to teleport. I personaly dont use cta instead i use wizzy + spirit thats way faster anyway

Phoenix is a better shield choice imo
phoenix feels very nice cause it keeps you alive and drinks mana pots automatically but the point was to boost the fcr for the teleport, which makes sense if you focus-farm the cow level, and you don't have titans and/or jav skillers with run/walk. finding tristam also takes some time and it adds up to a lot of wasted time, if you both run slow, and tele slow. but yeah phoenix is amazing, i like it alot too

Nah. Duel Mosaic so much faster lol.
The way it is, you can use a Dual Mosaic for everything and ignore every other build.
Actually not that much for cows.
