Oh and my Merc makes this build basically unkillable... A5 mer with hustle armour, Andy's, and dual Lastwish PB. Between Dracs and your merc, lifetap will ALWAYS be cast on the whole screen at all times... Insane

The best all around paladin build I use, which is also my main character build is max zeal, sacrifice, fanatacism, holy bolt and FOH. Grief PB, Phoenix ST, GFACE with 40/15 and my CTA has +3foh/+3 redemption and most of the time I use dracs but sometimes magefist if I wanna use more holy bolt+FOH more. You can also go smite instead of zeal but whether I'm 1pt zeal or 1pt snite, the damage is pretty much the same for both skulls either way. Sometimes I switch from grief to EBotdz which is nearly same DMG but has more safety with life leech. With this setup I can clear hell Baal solo I 8player games. There's a lot of flexibility cuz you can switch to gear if you wanna use FOH more, like Shako Mara's and spirit, or if you wanna use zeal more you can switch to Gface, highlords, Phoenix all without having to ever use tokens. This build is truly the best paladin build for PVM in the game because it's the strongest caster build AND the strongest melee build In the game together in 1 build. It's the most enjoyable to play especially since it's so flexible if you want to focus on melee or focus on casting more - you can switch your gear and boom. I can even solo 8player cows like you wouldn't believe. But in places like Chaos, Baal, Tombs, etc it destroys all using both FOH and zeal together. Hands down the godliest build for paladin you can possibly build

I play 2 player with my brother. While we can stack the prayer auras for healing, cleanse and meditation are not stacking (even at same level). So the only question right now is would we get more healing skilling up our own prayer auras and running the triple auras on one of us while the other runs prayer? or would evening out our prayer levels to match our mercs while we both run prayer and the mercs have insight and meditation? Merc 1- Prayer + Insight + Cure Merc 2- Prayer + other useful runewords Player 1- Prayer Aura (curatiled to match Merc Prayer level) Player 2- Prayer Aura (curatiled to match Merc Prayer level) OR Player 1 Prayer Aura + Insight + Cure (maximum prayer level) Player 2 Prayer Aura (maximum prayer level) Which one would provide more actual healing?

Question, if you are concerned about mana etc or life and do not want to use potions why not run a Phoenix with a redemption aura? Once you slay a pack it should instantly fill up both mana and life no?

I’m an older player (67) and not very good, never killed Baal in hell. I’ve got a level 52 Amazon that I’m having a blast with using Charged Strike and Lightning strike. (In NM act 2) my concern is lightning immunes in Hell so I’ll start building up Plague Javelin to deal with them. Is this a good idea? ( I only play offline so no hope of getting Infinity for a long time). Thank you, very impressive build.

way slower then normal javazone with frw... fcr is only important to areas where you haave to teleport. I personaly dont use cta instead i use wizzy + spirit thats way faster anyway

I’d say out of your frustration.. this was a bad Miracle, I mean yes you’re frustrated but you also got Aldurs Helm & a Decent Low Level Unique Armor for a start of a new char … 20% Cold&Fire Res and 5% Life .. W moment

You see, idk if its me but the mercenary AI in general seems to be much better on original Diablo II.

Tstrokes are unnecessary with high end gear elsewhere. Titan's Revenge still basically one shots all cows at p1 and gives faster r/w to boot. I've also never found javazon to be particularly desperate for mana, so the boots can easily be ditched for war travs or treks. Dropping razortail also majorly nerfs lightning fury and the +1 skills arach gives is absolutely not worth it, particularly given that you had to sink multiple more points into pierce just to compensate in the first place.

Can I stack Holy freeze, might merc aura with pally like that?

I have tried some different variations of the Java zon to spice up the fun factor. One I liked used carrion wind, vine creeper. Plague javelin, and lightning fury, conviction merc, and medusas gaze shield for lower res when struck.
