Oregonian here, definitely going to try some of these restaurants. Portland is diverse enough to have plenty to explore. House of ramen and Boke bowl are great Ramen shops as well.
Nimblefish is my favorite sushi but Blue Fin is very good. G Love and Tusk are very good and Rose VL for Pho.
Very fun. Love the puns.
The Burrito Bar has the best burritos. Everything is made fresh everyday. I recommend you try them if you haven't.
I think I've driven past that place many times, it's in the NW right? I'll have to try it sometime, thanks for the tip!

Move here since the early 80's from Southern California and never been to any of your top 10 food spots. 😁 We go to Salty's a lot and Fogo de Chão with the family. There are some nice and cheap buffets along 82nd ave. For Tacos or Burritos, I go to Javier's or Don Pedro's. . .

Dirty lettuce is a gem!
I would like to also make the trash comment that even the dive bars here often serve food that would rival the best street foods elsewhere. Bars run the gambit, from elite wine and whiskey to punk bottle shops, but there is a very strong drinking culture which some people say dominates the social scene.

Blue fin is really good but i think meeka sushi on 181/ne glisan is better. I will have to trt scotties never been there. My go to pho spot is pho kim on 82nd. Bete likas is good, i also love try me Ethiopian in Gresham
Portland, pound-for-pound, has the best food scene in the country. I didn’t really realize that until I moved to Phoenix, which doesn’t really have a food scene.
Yeah as long as you’re not going for authentic Mexican food.😂
@@Clauderee You are absolutely right on that one. I grew up in Texas, not too far from the border. The Portlander don’t know Mexican or Tex-Mex. Otherwise, they are great.

@@portlandoregonliving The only place that comes close is the little orange hole in the wall bordering Gresham, on SE Division, Mi Pueblo Taqueria..I know Portlanders don’t like to face it but America’s whitest city isn’t the place for Mexican food. Geographically and demographically. Store bought tortillas galore!
