I have a friend who has a pretty bad computer, but loved playing fortnite with me and our other friends. Unfortunately, because of all the updates and additions of these game modes, his computer can't handle the base game anymore and crashes every. single. time. The game modes take up too much space and have completely ruined his chances of playing the game normally. They need to go in my opinion. Before someone says, "Just get a better computer." he's really poor. It's irritating for him and all of us.

When they came out I only played the guitar hero one because it was interesting but it was kinda mid and the tracking was terrible the Lego one should’ve been a standalone game and the rocket racing didn’t even need to be a thing
On the bright side, epic has been planning an alternative non fluff version of fortnite, which would solve this problem. It's listed on their roadmap. While it has been pushed back 6 months, I think it is set to release by the end of 2024 or early 2025.

Ngl, Donald mustard vision is the meta verse but he wanted to take his time with it. He continued br so he can complete the story in there before he starts the meta verse but Tim stole his idea and just rushed it too fast. The modes could have been fun but it’s just you can tell it’s all rushed. Lego Fortnite had a lot of features and other stuff that weren’t in the game from the start. It did get a lot of features it needed overtime but still we need more and the updates need to be faster rather than a feeling like minecraft where they update it once a year. Rocket racing needed to be a Mario kart like game, not just a 1980s racing game that you just lape 3 times then you repeat. It needed improvements but base on the abandoned of rocket racing we won’t get anything unless they change it in the future. Festivals is fun ngl, best out of the 3 but it’s also rushed. A lot of the features still needs to be in the mode, we are getting some of it overtime like replay the song came at the start of season 5 and they introduced pro lead and pro bass but they need more so we can play the exact same experience as rock bad, And even we need better songs every week. Snoop Dogg is coming in 2 weeks soo I hope it brings that back with more good songs and more features like pro drums and pro vocals.

Save the World, a PvE gamemode that basically started Fortnite, has more of a bigger playerbase and gets less and less updates. Yet still HAS A BIGGER PLAYER COUNT than Lego fortnite, rocket racing, and fortnite festival COMBINED

I’ll never forgive what the metaverse did to the Item Shop. I waited hundreds of days for Silk Sonic’s emotes only for them to not return because they didn’t have LEGO variants
I mainly just hate how it affects the item shops. Emotes like Reapers Showtime literally wont get re-released because they dont have lego versions and that sucks for BR players. Plus it ruins collabs cause big companys like disney are like “Wowza! Metaverse! we love those! Have our money and bend over backwards for us and let us control all the content and add a new skin every update”
My opinion: Rocket Racing: from the beginning the game mode with its errors already made it quite impossible to play, the game mode was born boring and even with the updates I thought something better or interesting would happen but it seems that it is still the same thing but now with competitive players stuck in there. Lego Fortnite: This one hurts me a lot, not only because I had a huge faith that this would’ve been the best Fortnite game mode, but because the reason for its great fall was due to a monetary decision that would totally change the opinion of the community. Yes, it's Epic's fault that the Item Shop was bad this year, but what really ruined the item shop on Lego's part was selling constructions. They really thought that in the very beginning of the game mode, players were going to spend money on things specific to a single game mode and that they were going to leave players who don't spend money on the game with basically nothing?. They also haven't done much with the memory space in the game, so I have different abandoned worlds because I have already finished them and I haven't been able to continue with those villages. Festival: This I would say is the only game mode that has done well, not only because of the constant updates but also because of the artists that have appeared in the game mode, what really worries me is how they handle public attention to Festival. since it has been slowly declining even with the mini musical events they put out for the artists, I guess they will have to try something really game changing to be able to gain more audiences

It costs $130 which is a decent chunk of change but there are other options on the market. If you have a guitar hero controller in your closet somewhere, you can modify it with a solderless kit from retrocultmods for around $70. Hope this helps.

Lego is not a requirement, MHA does not have em. Rocket Racing is dead. Festival is fun AF. Lego is ok, but many styles not having Lego sucks really hard...
Are you a parent? Parents would tell you that it's not a failure. These game modes are like a gym with a daycare. The gym is your BR, and the Legos are there for the kids to play. The biggest argument you could have is that Epic put their concerns of longevity and mass appeal above the main storyline. They sacrificed a portion of their company to Disney to gain the IP's, appeal, and money that comes with it.... Epic has both leaned into its greed but also to ensure it will be around for many more years to come. Not everything Epic (or any company) does has to be for you/everyone! Kids love Lego, simply car racing and simple rhyme music games. Kids love Disney and seeing all their favorite characters! To me, Fortnite/Epic is the modern-day toy box. You can reach in, grab your favorite toys, and just have fun in whatever way you want! Strap rockets onto a race car and play soccer?! Doesn't really make much sense, but a child wouldn't question that at all! So please understand, we're all going to keep getting older, and the majority of us will become busy with work and life to where maybe we don't get to play Fortnite as much. Understand that there are young kids just starting to learn how to play games and just can't compete at all in BR yet. With these other modes those kids are still playing Fortnite. They're having fun in different, silly, more kid friendly ways. And someday, they will start learning more about FPS games and will become more ready for Battle Royale! Fortnites storyline was clearly always an afterthought that they kind of just make up as they go. Thanks to the success of BR, they definitely began to take it more seriously, but I mean, come on. It's all over the place and just serves as a tool to help introduce more ideas, concepts, and, nowadays, business partnerships. If you're a grown person that is heavily involved with the storyline of Fortnite, I understand but would also recommend maybe going on some walks in the park with your phone left in your car for a hour or so every once in awhile... With all that being said.... They really dropped the ball with Rocket Racing! 😂😂😂😂 They keep working on it. It keeps getting better. BUT DUDE, why couldn't it just have been a Mario Kart clone?! Let our Fortnite characters ride on top of our Rocket League cars and throw items at each other!! I actually think the biggest crime is adding all these other modes and then not adding back Imposters. Honestly if they were to just add back Imposters and delete Lego Fortnite and Rocket Racing, I think everyone would be happy. Not festival though, Festival is amazing.
They’ve lost the core identity of the game. They’re upgrading graphics slowly over time, changing perfectly good animations and game mechanics like running, and things like first person aim-down-sights. Things that don’t need to be done but they’re doing anyway because they think it needs to be done to compete. Just go back to the 3 original modes, Save the world, Battle Royale, and Creative. Just like how it used to be when you loaded up the game, where it gave you the 3 different options and that was it.
Epic genuinely though they could make their Battle Royal a hub to other game genres. Absolutely naive, how arrogant and full of your self do you have to be to even think to turn your game into that.
Yeah they forgot that the original gamemode (save the world) was killed by battle royale's popularity. The majority of players only want to play battle Royale in fortnite. They're trying to be Roblox when their fanbase only wants battle Royale
I think the issue is Fortnite wants to be a Walmart of gaming. But like the old saying goes, "jack of all trades, but master of none." It was evident when creative maps first sprouted up, that this game can do basic fundamentals of other modes, but they really weren't built for that. They know how to make a car move, but all we have is a generic racer. We have a Lego mode that functions like Minecraft, but it doesn't offer the creative freedom of Minecraft. The only good mode added was Festival. And I think that only worked because we haven't had a competitor in that market since Rock Band & Guitar Hero.
I agree that these needed another year but epic wanted to have to have something at least show off for chapter 5 which was reallly stupid cause instead of releasing 1 game over like every season with lego and rocket racing being last or releasing in chapter 6, they released a whole bunch of half baked game modes at the start. Especially sucks for rocket racing, cause I can think of a million concepts other concepts fortnite could do that they haven't.

This Is what happens when you rush theses other game modes out. They should have took their time and made these feel unique and have that Fortnite spin to It. The only game modes that feel fleshed out now Is Lego and Festival. Rocket Racing Is just a generic racer with the only thing cool In It Is you can use any car and sometimes you can drive on the ceiling or walls… that’s It. I’d rather them put more time and effort into STW then Rocket Racing. STW also has a bigger player count and In my personal opinion deserves a second chance.
I think not enough passion gets put into these game modes. I think Lego Fortnite is the only game mode that has passion put into it simply because it has the most stuff in it. Me and one of my friends have been messing around with the vehicle gameplay in a creative world since the cars were in Lego Fortnite, and I can confidently say that it is some of the most silly, random, and insane stuff that you can do in Fortnite. The other modes feel like there is nothing to them. With Rocket Racing there is no different game modes, no maps with unique mechanics, and no special events outside of the season launches. With Festival, there has been a few new game modes but there isn’t a lot that has been added aside from new songs which is understandable. There isn’t a lot that Epic can do in terms of new content for Festival aside from completely different modes that use the jam tracks. The Fall Guys game mode actually serves zero purpose when the original Fall Guy’s: Ultimate Knockout has a creative mode with better tools, better mechanics, better physics, arguably better graphics, and actually official game modes that have passion put behind them. I think each of these modes should just have been separate games that you would have to download rather than be inside Fortnite. LEGO Fortnite specifically feels like it should have been a separate game, made by Epic. I can’t say that I would exactly want that as having to pay for different cosmetics in a separate game would be horrible but it’s better than having these modes shoved in a game where they don’t belong.
I don't believe it's a lack of passion the problem that killed those mods, it's a lack of interest from the players. I believe it doesn't matter how many improvement you make to prefect these mods People Play Fortnite for BR and only BR, if the mode is a variation of BR it might have a better chance of survive, but mostly people like Fortnite BR just as It is regardless how much Epic ruins it (aka chapter 5 Season 3) This why Reload survive and why the most popular creative maps are Box Fights
What you said about the DC skins not popping up in the shop because of LEGO makes sense, I have the Harley Quinn skin which I bought last year during the OG season and it still doesn't have the LEGO skin, I also never see any DC skins in the shop ever since which is quite unfortunate, because I was really hoping to get the last laugh bundle.
imagine if they added powers to rocket league: peely peel thing that slows u down/ takes a boost or something anything kevin the cube power up: idk like grab someone and throw them behind u? idk give a extra powerful speed boost (and maybe they could disable using another boost or something for a limited time) skull trooper bone or anyone bone: it could like temporarily slow their boost or everytime they slow down it slows them down extra idk im just some random guy and if these sound pretty decent to me, then epic has to come up with something better ik alot had to do with slowing down/ taking aboost but what else would we do pop their tire/make them blind/ etc oh and the powerups could even be randomized example: 30% common peely nana etc 5% chance for idk a big water balloon catapult, (like mario or ink game) could cover half the screen in like water/ broken balloon pieces etc etc theres so many fortnite original things they could do and last but not least launch pad: could send u up in the air (ik flying in rocket racing is slow so itd be slightly faster and slightly faster than driving on the ground for a couple secs ik some may be broken/weak and yes it would prob be hard to buff/nerf/ make everything even but it would atleast be a start i dont think anyone would complain if we got banana peels or the catapult even making them seasonal (like the water balloon catapult, but pumpkin instead for a limited halloween time and ik the water balloon and pumpkin thing are seasonal but i think that makes it more fair for something somewhat op (fair as in keeping them exclusive to events each year even coming back with another or more powerups)
About the new modes from the perspective of someone that started the game the chapter they were added I only really use Lego for afking levels despite liking sandbox games very much, Rocket Racing is kinda funny sometimes but i literally can just play BR instead, and Festival doesn't even start for me so, that really kinda tells a bit about the issue
Epic should focus on revamping Save the World. Try tying it into the current seasons/story lines and updating the base game mechanics, upgrade the loot/reward system. I absolutely love save the world even with its flawed system, It's a great game. Sadly epic completely abandoned the project and left it as is.

Couldn’t agree more! Chapter 5 and everything brought with it has just been a net-negative for Fortnite as a whole, and it really feels like the game has lost its identity.
I have a great idea for the item shop/cosmetics. It has to do with the same concept of savethe world collection book. They bring all skins to their respective categories. (Dc skins, save the world bundles, starter packs, dc bundles, marvel bundels, fortnite bundles, halloween, gaming legends, dark series, frost series and so on) it will give the same drive as owning the battle pass. (The drive to see how much skins,emotes,stickers,wraps, and soundtracks you can obtain) Battlepasses will exist and should be more teirs avaliable to get free vbucks more to buy the skins in the collection book. The skins in battle passes will still be 950 altogether, whereas the collection book would be either 800 1200 1500 or 2000 depending on the given rariety, so the battlepass is still worth keeping. Bundles that cost money will be right next to the starter packs and what not.
Bundles with, say, 3 skins will still be in the either Marvel dc or others to not confuse the buyer. Car packs that cost money should still be by the cars that cost vbucks and just have a label on the top showing how much and what currency it'd cost.
Xenomorph doesn’t have a Lego form and was just in the shop. Also, Festival is made by Harmonix, the same Harmonix that made GH1, GH2, GH 80’s, and the entire Rock Band Franchise.

I love Rocket Racing. I’ve reached unreal every RR season. However i’m completely okay with Epic stopping support for it. People don’t understand Rocket Racing is about developing a perfection of skill with drifitng and boost use. As you go up in the ranks you see the same maps, but with more and more obstacles until they are completely unrecognizable. But all the same, the same core mechanics need that you’ve perfected are exercised and it’s awesome. The new maps are just long stretches of circular tracks. I love Rocket Racing, but it should have never replaced support for BR.
Asoon as they started releasing lego kits to sell I already knew that this gamemode is gonna have a dark future because you have to pay in order to get creative like I can just buy Minecraft with that money and I don’t have any limitations when building

I use to play both rocket racing and battle stage... and I can say it is true but Ill add one more thing. I am a console player and experienced issues where I would be in first in say rocket racing, with no one behind me. I would cross the finish line only to get put in second by literally .001 milliseconds- because the other user might have a faster device or fps... which makes it unenjoyable due to you potentially being in first only to be put in a lower spot.
Lego mode would actually be quite nice and cool as completely standalone rpg/crafting/survival game, this mode just asks of its own storylines and quests, like in every good rpg. I like that mode very much, but the amount of stuff they give us to do in this mode is too small. All they do is just selling expensive lego builds in shop. Very rushed this mode, just like racing and festival too. Many bugs, faulty and incomplete UI, complete mess with controls which interfere with BR controls. Such rich company really could do much better.
I couldn’t agree more with what your saying, I just feel like the metaverse stuff is just a waste of time and resources that could be used on br. Also I think creative 2.0 with the Unreal engine perfect for the “metaverse” type game since people are able to create full games in creative.
So, ive played Festival ever since day 1 even with the low amount of Jam tracks avaialble. I even completed this seasons battle pass just off of Festival because i just simply dont enjoy battle royale anymore as much. I love music and dont see myself playing Fortnite if festival didnt exist and i believe its become a decently good game mode. Especially with the higher difficulty tracks, festival is definitely a more skill based mode than it was before and im all here for it. Festival the niche enjoyable gamemode that you are 🙏

The only good thing they brought in was LEGO. I know a lot of people don’t play it but it’s a pretty fun alternative to Minecraft that gets you a ton of XP per hour. And it’s fun to hop into for an hour or two on the weekends or if I have nothing else more fun to do, waste a couple hours making complex builds on a Friday night.
I think they should just remove Lego and Racing and keep BR and Festival since they are the only ones that are succeeding. I know I won’t get comments on this but if I do who agrees?
I think that they should drop the metaverse thing and instead of squeezing updates out to every game mode making battle royale updates smaller and not have as many new features. Also the random cars, instruments and Lego kits just clog up the item shop with so much junk that nobody’s buying.
the br concept is 7 years old its good to have somethink new and fresh instead of br all the time and epic can afford it. I disagree personally. I think fortnite is very early in it's metaverse. They still haven't revealed the Disney world. I think more than a few thousand care about these modes. Gotta remember Epic just rolled out the new rating system so these modes probably don't apply to you. I also think it's weird how ppl get upset that a game wants to include more ppl.
People play Fortnite because they like Fortnite. The creative maps are good enough and resemble more Fortnite. Needing to have all the cosmetics also be Lego is silly. It seems perfectly okay to have separate things. Rocket racing is too repetative and Lego is like a boring version of Fortnite creative haha.
Your claim about lego fortnite not getting updates is not accurate .We get three types of updates , lego creative updates , small lego survival updates and big lego survival updates . Thus content and im just talking about survival here . We alot of good updates before lost isles . So you jus cant assume on lego updates with out being apart of the community . not only has this metaverse done all this damage to the game, but it also made the more smaller details of the game feel less relevant. i'm happy with this fortnitemares because its the only good mini event that has happened in the last 2 years. and the reason for that was because they put so much time into this stupid metaverse that they didn't give the time for the smaller details that did matter
There still working it out, I think the metaverse is a great idea and only helps the games replay value and longevity. It can’t always just be a BR game, the modes came out half baked and while rocket racing is probably doomed they still have more games planned/rumored like an open world mode and a sports modes so who knows, I think it’s just too early to say it’s “dead” and it’s also ignorant to say nobody cares about it because everyone within my circle I know thinks it’s really cool it’s just half baked. Also you completely misinterpreted when people say things without a lego can’t return, that’s just flat out wrong this only applies to if a skin has a lego form but an emote apart of its bundle doesn’t because literally in the shop as we speak Billy does not have a lego, rick and Morty which returned like every day didn’t have a lego and Deadpool didn’t even get a lego either, dc hasn’t returned because DC is going through massive issues right now not because they don’t have lego styles. Once again, I must repeat this only applies to for example Bruno mars being in the shop but his emote not having lego resulting in the bundle not returning, they usually release the skins first, give the emotes a lego style and then return the bundle lego actually is only a net positive since they want to resell cosmetics there have been a bunch of rare cosmetics that have returned because of that.

I have a friend who has a pretty bad computer, but loved playing fortnite with me and our other friends. Unfortunately, because of all the updates and additions of these game modes, his computer can't handle the base game anymore and crashes every. single. time. The game modes take up too much space and have completely ruined his chances of playing the game normally. They need to go in my opinion. Before someone says, "Just get a better computer." he's really poor. It's irritating for him and all of us.

When they came out I only played the guitar hero one because it was interesting but it was kinda mid and the tracking was terrible the Lego one should’ve been a standalone game and the rocket racing didn’t even need to be a thing

On the bright side, epic has been planning an alternative non fluff version of fortnite, which would solve this problem. It's listed on their roadmap. While it has been pushed back 6 months, I think it is set to release by the end of 2024 or early 2025.

Ngl, Donald mustard vision is the meta verse but he wanted to take his time with it. He continued br so he can complete the story in there before he starts the meta verse but Tim stole his idea and just rushed it too fast. The modes could have been fun but it’s just you can tell it’s all rushed.
Lego Fortnite had a lot of features and other stuff that weren’t in the game from the start. It did get a lot of features it needed overtime but still we need more and the updates need to be faster rather than a feeling like minecraft where they update it once a year.
Rocket racing needed to be a Mario kart like game, not just a 1980s racing game that you just lape 3 times then you repeat. It needed improvements but base on the abandoned of rocket racing we won’t get anything unless they change it in the future.
Festivals is fun ngl, best out of the 3 but it’s also rushed. A lot of the features still needs to be in the mode, we are getting some of it overtime like replay the song came at the start of season 5 and they introduced pro lead and pro bass but they need more so we can play the exact same experience as rock bad, And even we need better songs every week. Snoop Dogg is coming in 2 weeks soo I hope it brings that back with more good songs and more features like pro drums and pro vocals.

I mainly just hate how it affects the item shops. Emotes like Reapers Showtime literally wont get re-released because they dont have lego versions and that sucks for BR players.

My opinion:
Rocket Racing: from the beginning the game mode with its errors already made it quite impossible to play, the game mode was born boring and even with the updates I thought something better or interesting would happen but it seems that it is still the same thing but now with competitive players stuck in there.
Lego Fortnite: This one hurts me a lot, not only because I had a huge faith that this would’ve been the best Fortnite game mode, but because the reason for its great fall was due to a monetary decision that would totally change the opinion of the community.
Yes, it's Epic's fault that the Item Shop was bad this year, but what really ruined the item shop on Lego's part was selling constructions. They really thought that in the very beginning of the game mode, players were going to spend money on things specific to a single game mode and that they were going to leave players who don't spend money on the game with basically nothing?.
They also haven't done much with the memory space in the game, so I have different abandoned worlds because I have already finished them and I haven't been able to continue with those villages.
Festival: This I would say is the only game mode that has done well, not only because of the constant updates but also because of the artists that have appeared in the game mode, what really worries me is how they handle public attention to Festival. since it has been slowly declining even with the mini musical events they put out for the artists, I guess they will have to try something really game changing to be able to gain more audiences
They need to add a buyable console guitar that's cheaper for festival. It's so boring just playing with the controller.
Im not someone who has made one but a guitar that costs $40 would probably save it imo. No one wants to buy a $200 guitar hero or rock band guitar

It costs $130 which is a decent chunk of change but there are other options on the market. If you have a guitar hero controller in your closet somewhere, you can modify it with a solderless kit from retrocultmods for around $70. Hope this helps.

Are you a parent? Parents would tell you that it's not a failure. These game modes are like a gym with a daycare. The gym is your BR, and the Legos are there for the kids to play.
The biggest argument you could have is that Epic put their concerns of longevity and mass appeal above the main storyline. They sacrificed a portion of their company to Disney to gain the IP's, appeal, and money that comes with it.... Epic has both leaned into its greed but also to ensure it will be around for many more years to come.
Not everything Epic (or any company) does has to be for you/everyone! Kids love Lego, simply car racing and simple rhyme music games. Kids love Disney and seeing all their favorite characters!
To me, Fortnite/Epic is the modern-day toy box. You can reach in, grab your favorite toys, and just have fun in whatever way you want! Strap rockets onto a race car and play soccer?! Doesn't really make much sense, but a child wouldn't question that at all! So please understand, we're all going to keep getting older, and the majority of us will become busy with work and life to where maybe we don't get to play Fortnite as much. Understand that there are young kids just starting to learn how to play games and just can't compete at all in BR yet. With these other modes those kids are still playing Fortnite. They're having fun in different, silly, more kid friendly ways. And someday, they will start learning more about FPS games and will become more ready for Battle Royale!
Fortnites storyline was clearly always an afterthought that they kind of just make up as they go. Thanks to the success of BR, they definitely began to take it more seriously, but I mean, come on. It's all over the place and just serves as a tool to help introduce more ideas, concepts, and, nowadays, business partnerships. If you're a grown person that is heavily involved with the storyline of Fortnite, I understand but would also recommend maybe going on some walks in the park with your phone left in your car for a hour or so every once in awhile...
With all that being said.... They really dropped the ball with Rocket Racing! 😂😂😂😂 They keep working on it. It keeps getting better. BUT DUDE, why couldn't it just have been a Mario Kart clone?! Let our Fortnite characters ride on top of our Rocket League cars and throw items at each other!! I want an arcade racer with weapons, and they have everything at their disposal to make a great one 😭😭😭😭

I actually think the biggest crime is adding all these other modes and then not adding back Imposters. Honestly if they were to just add back Imposters and delete Lego Fortnite and Rocket Racing, I think everyone would be happy. Not festival though, Festival is amazing.
They’ve lost the core identity of the game. They’re upgrading graphics slowly over time, changing perfectly good animations and game mechanics like running, and things like first person aim-down-sights. Things that don’t need to be done but they’re doing anyway because they think it needs to be done to compete. Just go back to the 3 original modes, Save the world, Battle Royale, and Creative. Just like how it used to be when you loaded up the game, where it gave you the 3 different options and that was it.

I think the issue is Fortnite wants to be a Walmart of gaming. But like the old saying goes, "jack of all trades, but master of none."
It was evident when creative maps first sprouted up, that this game can do basic fundamentals of other modes, but they really weren't built for that.
They know how to make a car move, but all we have is a generic racer. We have a Lego mode that functions like Minecraft, but it doesn't offer the creative freedom of Minecraft.
The only good mode added was Festival. And I think that only worked because we haven't had a competitor in that market since Rock Band & Guitar Hero.
They're cramming too much junk in Fortnite.

This Is what happens when you rush theses other game modes out. They should have took their time and made these feel unique and have that Fortnite spin to It. The only game modes that feel fleshed out now Is Lego and Festival. Rocket Racing Is just a generic racer with the only thing cool In It Is you can use any car and sometimes you can drive on the ceiling or walls… that’s It. I’d rather them put more time and effort into STW then Rocket Racing. STW also has a bigger player count and In my personal opinion deserves a second chance.

I think not enough passion gets put into these game modes. I think Lego Fortnite is the only game mode that has passion put into it simply because it has the most stuff in it. Me and one of my friends have been messing around with the vehicle gameplay in a creative world since the cars were in Lego Fortnite, and I can confidently say that it is some of the most silly, random, and insane stuff that you can do in Fortnite.
The other modes feel like there is nothing to them. With Rocket Racing there is no different game modes, no maps with unique mechanics, and no special events outside of the season launches. With Festival, there has been a few new game modes but there isn’t a lot that has been added aside from new songs which is understandable. There isn’t a lot that Epic can do in terms of new content for Festival aside from completely different modes that use the jam tracks.
The Fall Guys game mode actually serves zero purpose when the original Fall Guy’s: Ultimate Knockout has a creative mode with better tools, better mechanics, better physics, arguably better graphics, and actually official game modes that have passion put behind them.
I think each of these modes should just have been separate games that you would have to download rather than be inside Fortnite. LEGO Fortnite specifically feels like it should have been a separate game, made by Epic. I can’t say that I would exactly want that as having to pay for different cosmetics in a separate game would be horrible but it’s better than having these modes shoved in a game where they don’t belong.
I don't believe it's a lack of passion the problem that killed those mods, it's a lack of interest from the players.

People Play Fortnite for BR and only BR, if the mode is a variation of BR it might have a better chance of survive, but mostly people like Fortnite BR just as It is regardless how much Epic ruins it (aka chapter 5 Season 3)

What you said about the DC skins not popping up in the shop because of LEGO makes sense, I have the Harley Quinn skin which I bought last year during the OG season and it still doesn't have the LEGO skin, I also never see any DC skins in the shop ever since which is quite unfortunate, because I was really hoping to get the last laugh bundle.

and last but not least launch pad: could send u up in the air (ik flying in rocket racing is slow so itd be slightly faster and slightly faster than driving on the ground for a couple secs
ik some may be broken/weak and yes it would prob be hard to buff/nerf/ make everything even but it would atleast be a start
i dont think anyone would complain if we got banana peels or the catapult even making them seasonal (like the water balloon catapult, but pumpkin instead for a limited halloween time
and ik the water balloon and pumpkin thing are seasonal but i think that makes it more fair for something somewhat op (fair as in keeping them exclusive to events each year even coming back with another or more powerups)

I only really use Lego for afking levels despite liking sandbox games very much, Rocket Racing is kinda funny sometimes but i literally can just play BR instead, and Festival doesn't even start for me so, that really kinda tells a bit about the issue

Epic should focus on revamping Save the World. Try tying it into the current seasons/story lines and updating the base game mechanics, upgrade the loot/reward system. I absolutely love save the world even with its flawed system, It's a great game. Sadly epic completely abandoned the project and left it as is.

I have a great idea for the item shop/cosmetics. It has to do with the same concept of savethe world collection book. They bring all skins to their respective categories. (Dc skins, save the world bundles, starter packs, dc bundles, marvel bundels, fortnite bundles, halloween, gaming legends, dark series, frost series and so on) it will give the same drive as owning the battle pass. (The drive to see how much skins,emotes,stickers,wraps, and soundtracks you can obtain)
Battlepasses will exist and should be more teirs avaliable to get free vbucks more to buy the skins in the collection book. The skins in battle passes will still be 950 altogether, whereas the collection book would be either 800 1200 1500 or 2000 depending on the given rariety, so the battlepass is still worth keeping. Bundles that cost money will be right next to the starter packs and what not.
Bundles with, say, 3 skins will still be in the either Marvel dc or others to not confuse the buyer. Car packs that cost money should still be by the cars that cost vbucks and just have a label on the top showing how much and what currency it'd cost.

I love Rocket Racing. I’ve reached unreal every RR season. However i’m completely okay with Epic stopping support for it.
People don’t understand Rocket Racing is about developing a perfection of skill with drifitng and boost use. As you go up in the ranks you see the same maps, but with more and more obstacles until they are completely unrecognizable. But all the same, the same core mechanics need that you’ve perfected are exercised and it’s awesome. The new maps are just long stretches of circular tracks.
I love Rocket Racing, but it should have never replaced support for BR.

I use to play both rocket racing and battle stage... and I can say it is true but Ill add one more thing. I am a console player and experienced issues where I would be in first in say rocket racing, with no one behind me. I would cross the finish line only to get put in second by literally .001 milliseconds- because the other user might have a faster device or fps... which makes it unenjoyable due to you potentially being in first only to be put in a lower spot.

Lego mode would actually be quite nice and cool as completely standalone rpg/crafting/survival game, this mode just asks of its own storylines and quests, like in every good rpg.
I like that mode very much, but the amount of stuff they give us to do in this mode is too small. All they do is just selling expensive lego builds in shop.
Very rushed this mode, just like racing and festival too. Many bugs, faulty and incomplete UI, complete mess with controls which interfere with BR controls. Such rich company really could do much better.

So, ive played Festival ever since day 1 even with the low amount of Jam tracks avaialble. I even completed this seasons battle pass just off of Festival because i just simply dont enjoy battle royale anymore as much. I love music and dont see myself playing Fortnite if festival didnt exist and i believe its become a decently good game mode. Especially with the higher difficulty tracks, festival is definitely a more skill based mode than it was before and im all here for it. Festival the niche enjoyable gamemode that you are 🙏

Fortnite spin off games, but they’re in the main game
The only good thing they brought in was LEGO. I know a lot of people don’t play it but it’s a pretty fun alternative to Minecraft that gets you a ton of XP per hour. And it’s fun to hop into for an hour or two on the weekends or if I have nothing else more fun to do, waste a couple hours making complex builds on a Friday night.
I think they should just remove Lego and Racing and keep BR and Festival since they are the only ones that are succeeding. I know I won’t get comments on this but if I do who agrees?
I think that they should drop the metaverse thing and instead of squeezing updates out to every game mode making battle royale updates smaller and not have as many new features. Also the random cars, instruments and Lego kits just clog up the item shop with so much junk that nobody’s buying.
Epic should have kept Fortnite as a battle royale
the br concept is 7 years old its good to have somethink new and fresh instead of br all the time and epic can afford it. The only problem is the item shop but the metaverses dont really change the br sometimes they add like the guitar from metallica but its not that big deal. The biggest problem is disney manipulating the whole game

The only reason i even got back on fornite was all the different game modes

Just wanted to say I started back in the megolodon season and before that I tried again back in the first marvel season i wasn't a fan of it back then but now it's become a much more interesting game so to me it didn't fail just got better
I disagree personally. I think fortnite is very early in it's metaverse. They still haven't revealed the Disney world. I think more than a few thousand care about these modes. Gotta remember Epic just rolled out the new rating system so these modes probably don't apply to you. I also think it's weird how ppl get upset that a game wants to include more ppl.
You may very well be right
People play Fortnite because they like Fortnite. The creative maps are good enough and resemble more Fortnite. Needing to have all the cosmetics also be Lego is silly. It seems perfectly okay to have separate things. Rocket racing is too repetative and Lego is like a boring version of Fortnite creative haha.

Your claim about lego fortnite not getting updates is not accurate .We get three types of updates , lego creative updates , small lego survival updates and big lego survival updates . Thus content and im just talking about survival here . We alot of good updates before lost isles . So you jus cant assume on lego updates with out being apart of the community . Tho keep up the great work ,your editing was amazing and funny.
not only has this metaverse done all this damage to the game, but it also made the more smaller details of the game feel less relevant. i'm happy with this fortnitemares because its the only good mini event that has happened in the last 2 years. and the reason for that was because they put so much time into this stupid metaverse that they didn't give the time for the smaller details that did matter
I love LEGO Fortnite and the Metaverse. Everything Epic has done with the Metaverse is amazing.

There still working it out, I think the metaverse is a great idea and only helps the games replay value and longevity. It can’t always just be a BR game, the modes came out half baked and while rocket racing is probably doomed they still have more games planned/rumored like an open world mode and a sports modes so who knows, I think it’s just too early to say it’s “dead” and it’s also ignorant to say nobody cares about it because everyone within my circle I know thinks it’s really cool it’s just half baked.
Also you completely misinterpreted when people say things without a lego can’t return, that’s just flat out wrong this only applies to if a skin has a lego form but an emote apart of its bundle doesn’t because literally in the shop as we speak Billy does not have a lego, rick and Morty which returned like every day didn’t have a lego and Deadpool didn’t even get a lego either, dc hasn’t returned because DC is going through massive issues right now not because they don’t have lego styles. Once again, I must repeat this only applies to for example Bruno mars being in the shop but his emote not having lego resulting in the bundle not returning, they usually release the skins first, give the emotes a lego style and then return the bundle lego actually is only a net positive since they want to resell cosmetics there have been a bunch of rare cosmetics that have returned because of that.
I knew metaverse wasn’t going to be cared about they should scrapped all this fornite needs to go back to normal

I wonder why rocket racing does not have a clash mode with items or make it worth playing unlike Lego or festival because they get more updates than rocket racing

I can level up my battle pass in any mode I want to play in.
if they are expanding it, it's not a failure. its a failure just for you. nothing more.
None of them are as fleshed out or rewarding as the BR and you cannot use your cosmetics built up over a half decade in these modes.
