I was born and raised in Mostar. I remember the original bridge, the old town, the war, the temporary bridge and I clearly remember the summer of 2004! I was 18 and we had great hope that the bridge will restore our once lose brotherhood. However, I moved to Germany in 2014 and i hate what the old town has become. I remember all the shops and the artists in the old town, almost no tourists and our grandparents teaching us backgammon or chess. It was a great time, the old town belonged to the people. Under the bridge it was very fresh during the summer and kind of dark, a perfect fooling around spot for young lovers…
