To be 6'8" and 300+ lbs and run a 4.9 is nuts. This has to be one of the most stacked drafts ever as far as how many impressive players there are across all positions
as an eagles fan and a fan of football, watching jeff stoutland work with o lineman is truly a masterpiece and a joy to watch, best o line coach in the league
the second guy Jaelyn Duncan is the older brother of a guy i played youth ball with. He went to Northern High for a year or two before transferring to St. John’s and when he was in High School he was a bit smaller and people said he ran 4.8 at like 315😂
I know we get caught up with the "These DBs , these wide outs are going to hit 4.3 , 4.2" because that's the "elite" speed level and we all get hyped for it, but if you really think about it in the grand scheme of things .. these O lineman with almost 100 lbs on them some are running sub 5's .. that is literally less than a second difference, lol. There really isn't as big of a gap as it feels. All of these dudes would outrun 99% of us in a zombie apocolypse while we get eaten.
Not saying that these lineman aren’t freak athletes cause they absolutely are, but “less than a second” is still a huge difference for an event as short as the 40 yard dash, if you ever watch a lineman pick up a fumble or intercept a pass and try to outrun receivers than you can see exactly how fast they are compared to smaller skilled position players
Pittsburgh please do what you have to to get and pray to who you believe in to get Broderick jones in the first or Paris Johnson Jr then sidy sow in the second to start at LG and the Baylor DT siaka ika with the second of our 2nd round picks. If this happens my God it’ll be the best Steelers teams since the 70’s
Jon Gaines II is going to be a monsterous pro bowl caliber linemen in the league, his elite athleticism is special n rare. With AZ also drafting by far n away the best OT in the draft in Paris Johnson the Cardinals should have a beastly OL next year with great depth and it’ll only get better n better going forward.
Imagine playing pickup basketball with these giants, 300 lb men who can run and move laterally like crazy, it doesn’t even matter if they can dribble or shoot, they could just plow their way to the basket every time
