Great work. I do cut the glass bottles but never thought glass can be cut this way too. I will definitely try. Thank you for inspiring me.

This technique may look a total waste of time to a lot of people because they want the bottle finished as fast as possible. Whats the point of making a bottle every 5 min?
Some people ask "Ok, so you cut it, now what you do with it? It is not about what I do with it after i cut it but what I achieved doing it. What you are doing here is called "Meditation". It is a total state of concentration, a training for the mind and soul, thinking about nothing but only what you are doing now. It's to find peace for yourself, and we need that these days (during pandemic). It's to tell yourself, I know it will be a very journey and I will be spending lot of time doing & learning this and there will be many many failure to experience. I will break many many bottles, I will get mad, I will be very angry, I will be disappointed, but no matter what happens, I WILL NEVER GIVE UP cause I know someday I will look at something so beautiful that I created and it is priceless to me. I will never sell it cause it's all about me and my abilities and every time i look at it, it will remind me of me and I am proud of me.
People also ask "why I am not wearing any gloves"... You won't be needing gloves when you reach that level of concentration and experience. I am a professional glass cutter and I know how to touch glass. The note I have in the beginning of my video is for those who never worked with glass. It is a note to beginners to prevent accidents and injuries so please wear gloves, eye protection and a good dust mask if you are a beginner and never worked with glass.
Now a note for Professionals:
Wearing gloves while cutting a bottle is like asking a blind man to wear gloves when touching objects. You just disconnected him/her from his/her surrounding world. You need to feel the bottle. I should remind you again, This is NOT a technique to cut a bottle and waist some time. Don't do this if your think "OK, I did it now what I do with it?" Do it to remind yourself of your abilities every time you look at it. When I look at my collection of bottles, each bottle has a story to remind me of, "You cut me and made me do the spiral dance for you" - "you cut me but I couldn't cut you".

@@pdxwildchildroberts5586 any electrical tape will do. Electric tapes are flexible around curves and thats why i use them.

Brilliant! I have everything needed so I gave it a go but couldn't start the initial crack. My soldering iron is butane & the tip is very small. I don't think it is hot enough. I can borrow a 60 watt soldering iron from my neighbor (when he gets home) or just go buy one. For now, my project is on hold until I can get a hotter soldering iron. In the mean time, I'll try the wet Q-tip advice you gave in another comment. I'll give an update when I advance with this project. Thank you for inspiring me!

Wow! Simply amazing.. Beautiful piece before and after.. Working with that thin top piece had to be stressful.. Using the cutwheel to score looks much easier.. I noticed him dragging the iron before the initial crack.. Is that to preheat the score line a little.. Sorry for all the questions but I am a beginner and don't know why but have been obsessed with cutting glass for the last few months.. Again thanks for sharing your amazing talents and your amazing videos..
Thank you for watching. I sent links to my videos for everyone to watch. Don’t know if you got them or not. Anyway to answer your questions. Yes, dragging along the score line about an inch back and forth helps keep the area warm and easier to start the initial crack. Sometimes I use a Q-tip and dip in into a cool glass of water when the crack is a little stubborn to start. Not too much water. As long as the Q-tip is wet and cool it will do the job. WOW! 😮 Looks great. And cutting the glass even made it look better. I am so impressed. To me it looks like a giraffe fading into a smoke tornado and cutting the glass makes the „smoke tornado“ even more impressive. I LOVE IT. 😁
Just as a matter of interest: What did you use to color the sculpture? Did you cut all of them or photoshop the 8 additional ones?

Yes, I made one then took photos from different views and finally PhotoShop the original into other colours. I used glass paint to colour the item

We're those all different colored bottles at the end or did you color the clear bottles somehow?
That is a PhotoShop Image. I only received one glass sculpture. The actual colour I used was Red. I then took a photo shot and changed the colour to what you see in that image.

Каким таким стеклорезом пользуетесь на первых линиях? Какой мощности паяльник? Если это паяльник.
