Fun Fact: there 2 Darius references in Bubble Memories. The Warning Screen when facing a boss. which is "DANGER!" instead "WARNING!" and "THE ROOM GUARDER" instead of "A HUGE BATTLE SHIP" And the defeat animation of Swimmer Queen Monsta and Super Dark Great Dragon's 2nd Phrase is similar to most of the Boss Battle Ships in Darius Gaiden.
Just Won a PCB Cart of this plus the F3 motherboard. Can't wait to play through for the first time! The F3 is an amazing system and criminally underrated. There is so little content on this arcade system that has some of the best looking 2D games ever
You thought this was dark? The same final boss originally debuted in Rainbow Islands under the name "Boss of Shadow" and, like in Bubble Memories, he had a second "Monsta" phase (whose transformation involved being stripped to the bone and reduced to nothing more than a giant floating skull) and after you defeated him for good, the arena would start to fill up with *blood*, and if you didn't avoid it, you'd get an _automatic Game Over regardless of how many lives or continues you had left!_
Yep, and they're the kids from Rainbow Islands and the dragons from the original Bubble Bobble. The series has seen the two boys being turned into dragons on at least two occasions.
@@austinreed7343 You're right there, especially since this game takes place after Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars (in that order), and that Parasol Stars already had the tagline "The Story of Bubble Bobble III" before it. Bubble Memories' tagline should have said "The Story of Bubble Bobble IV", but I'm guessing they nicknamed it "Bubble Bobble III" because it's the third arcade game in the series with the same basic gameplay formula as the original Bubble Bobble (which may explain why Bubble Symphony is also known as "Bubble Bobble II").
Looks like you are playing in "another mode" (or whatever it's called). All stage layouts are different and harder and the weapon you get in each boss fight puts you well in the way of the bosses' attacks unlike in normal mode. Plus a true final boss.
Well we have been getting music made by people from Taito so I bet that's hinting something If we ever get any Taito reps it'd be either Bub or Linka from Groove Coaster
Bubble Bobble 1 -> Rainbow Islands -> Parasol Stars Bubble Bobble 1 -> Bubble Symphony (also called Bubble Bobble 2) -> Bubble Memories Basically because RI and PS follow different kinds of gameplay than the standard BB type.

This is the LAST bubble blooble game so far, right?
Invidente7 no, there's another game for the Wii Ware/XBLA and PSN
Niceeeeeee
@@save_zawarudo
But it's a remake so it doesn't count
@@marioghernandez4960 i know duh
Ok, honestly I love how the 6th boss is. When he's at low health, he looks so drunk and the animation for him really supports it.
*Bounk!* *Bounk!*
Mi abue era la dueña de las máquinas y tuve la mejor de las infancias, voy a llorar :')

Congrats on 90K subs
Thanks. :)

I have fond memories of this game (pun intended).
Didn't think Bubble Bobble could get the slightest bit dark with that final boss.

@@EmeraldoTheDragon I saw. So they essentially took the Kirby route and went full-blown twisted expectin' only older players to make it that far
You brought back my memories!
With bubbling childhoods! ♥U♥
Yay another bubble bobble fam
I remember Kligan from Puzzle Bobble 2.
Shadowserg, I can't believe you beat bubble memories with only 1live!
I remember playing this game when I was young on the computer
Wait, they were the kids from Parasol Stars all along??
Yeah, IKR! I said the same thing when i seen the change up, lol
Really, this should be called Bubble Bobble IV

Listen, if you can do a boss rush without taking damage in this game, can you do a boss rush of Bubble Bobble 2 (a.k.a. Bubble Symphony)?
I really wish they were in smash.
I don't care if they are an assist trophy as long they are in.
Well we have been getting music made by people from Taito so I bet that's hinting something

I would like to see them as playable characters.
Some power-ups look similar to the powers of the characters from Snow Bros. 2: With New Elves
OMG I PLAYED THIS GAME!!😍
Gotta love those bubble dragons.
No tuve mucho dinero para las maquinitas y ahora por fin veo todos los boss que felicidad jajaja
07:14 Ralsei?
Dem Quality JPEG backgrounds :)
Pretty sure they are in a different format.
Don't you mean BMP backgrounds?
>Bubble Bobble 3
>"The fifth in the series"
So does that include spinoffs?
Bubble Bobble 1 -> Rainbow Islands -> Parasol Stars
Bubble Bobble 1 -> Bubble Symphony (also called Bubble Bobble 2) -> Bubble Memories
Basically because RI and PS follow different kinds of gameplay than the standard BB type.
How clever by using the boss intros from their Darius series. Also Bubba the ghost had to be stressful to deal with
The last two bosses even explode in the same fashion as the bosses from that game
Cómo me encantaba este juego de niño aunque nunca lo termine
Another cute (yet frustrating) entry in the Bubble Bobble series.
Gran canal, muy bonito, como bro👍🏻😊
10:25 when you beat your own highscore
Que pro ese dragonbot😆😆😆 10:46
What determines the ending you get?
Love this game! It would be my favourite of the Bubble Bobble trilogy if it weren't for those hideous backgrounds.
Wow, the final boss is amazingf
Hey I remember there used to be an all bosses video of this but whoever made it deleted their account
I swear I had no fucking idea this game existed.
Taru P remimded from Bubble Symphony
I used to play this game with my father
Am I the only one who thinks that Waffulfl sounds like an anime cat?
Nostalgia
11:34 his fucking head coming off and changing is actually really creepy, that’s some Kirby shit right there!
Kirby shit?
Gacchan, Maita P and Taru P are my favourites
I remember that in the 2nd boss appear storm bubbles
i like this game
11:39 ngl it's creepy💀 11:40
The Great Dragon is a Devlin Demo?
Develon.
I never tried this but maybe there is a anime game you play and you add all bosses
??
Hailey Larot Jtf060608 What’s that supposed to mean? Are you simply saying you want them to play an anime game?
Rip koornt😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕 1:16
I hated when Kligan tried to Crushed me alive (because he looks like a Thwomp)
I done the super mode a few months ago so anyway I love bubble bobble 1 because it has 100 levels and this game has 80
So 100 is more than 80
Kligan from Puzzle Bobble 2
I like 4th boss.
I challenge you to do a super star wars bosses no damage
Hey I'm pretty early. Nice
ME TWO
Este juego era difícil a partir del boss 4 nunca pude pasarlo :'c
A giant door set in the spider background
I didnt know there were 5 games only the 1st one
Coming up next it's bubble bobble then it's blue's clues on Nick Jr
I HATE THESE BACKDROP LMAO

Reminds me darius gaiden.
The boss intros are so fucking similar to the darius boss introductions... Ah, same company
Having the ghost show up during a boss fight is bad design

I hated Kligan, he was scary and hard to hit (as a kid).

Hmmm... Pretty weird game tbh... The original and the bubble-shooter games were too, but... o_O
