    vaginal estrogen cream 2 x weekly is an alternative to oral estrogen for those of us who cannot tolerate side effects of oral estrogen (dry eyes). I stopped running in 2017 and switched over to hiking and cross-country skiing. Your videos are always thoughtfully done and well-researched. I really appreciated your honesty on the facial fat loss that you experienced and your journey with sculptra and lamuna. I added bone broth and full-fat yogurt to my diet which area helping me. I have juvederm done very sparingly. At 53 and slim frame, I also struggled with facial aging. I will consider laluma in the future as a more natural biostimulator. Your calm peaceful manner and honesty are very refreshing!

      May I know why you would take oral estrogen? It increases the risks of blood clots administered this way. Patches are the safest. That said, I am very sensitive to estrogen and even very low dose turns me into zombie with brain fog and body jitters. I am so not ready to get back to trying it again.

    I use a very low dose of estradiol in a patch on my abdomen, which I replace twice a week. I also contacted Alloy at Penn Smith’s suggestion. They agreed that I would benefit from an estrogen cream. I have not noticed any improvement in wrinkles (yet), after three months, but my skin is less sensitive and less reactive. That alone tells me that my skin density has improved, even if it is not visible to the naked eye.

    I'm 52 & I use the same estradiol cream my Dr prescribed me for menopause on my face. I mix it w/ a little of my SUKOYAKA SUHADA toner so that it's easier to spread. It really makes a huge difference in the quality of my skin & It's covered by my insurance :-) I've also found it makes my skin must less reactive to tretinoin & my skin recovers faster when I microneedle or use a peel. My sister started doing the same & she was able to ramp up her tret from 2 x a week to everyday in a month without any of the negative skin reactions I had when I first started tret 3 years ago.

I had pmdd, Subclinical hyperthyroidism and osteopenia so I feel estrogen is vital for my bones and mental health.I use transdermal gel Estradiol and just started Estriol on my face and after a month I can see a difference. I use the vaginal estrogen cream on my face. People often say I look late twenties, I think I look 36 lol But also I've never got a tan and worn spf 50 since age 26. Also green tea daily and I gave up alcohol 17 months ago and my wrinkles diminished just from giving up alcohol and I lost 2 inches off my waist. Here in the UK it is hard to get hormones and I first went private for my prescription.

    As always educational. I think the key outcome must be a visible result. I also feel that when the routine includes everything, including kitchen sink, its not clear what is working and what is a waste of dollars. My advise to you: less is more. In my case I have a set routine for AM and PM and it works for me, mainly I use Retin A, Vitamin C and peptides. When I try to be creative and add more steps I hardly see any difference. The proven power horse in any routine is a Retinoid. So why spend money and risk ruining your skin barrier? I believe stay with a routine that works and save money for a plastic surgery, and outcome will be apparent, than back to routine. That is also what any good plastic surgeon will tell you to do.

So, there is definitely uptake that is happening to the body, even if it does not show in bloodwork. We will see when i have my next saliva test what is going on. I do use Biest cream on my body and adding this face cream has disrupted the balance of my hormones. I will have to work with my dr. to figure out if i want to continue on the face cream. I’ve been reading Heather Hirsch’s book “Unlock Your Menopause Type: Personalized Treatments, the Last Word on Hormones, and Remedies that Work” it’s a great read, and she’s clear about the fact that topical estrogen doesn’t lead to increased systemic levels. I’ve often wondered about estrogen for antiaging/skincare as it’s used for vaginal skin health. Thank you for sharing & disseminating the research studies you’ve found. Great informative topical estrogen chat. 😊

      Hi gorgeous, that sounds like a great read. I do think that topical estrogen leads to increased systemic levels, as in my case using transdermal HRT, but again, it depends on the dose and the dose used for vaginal or facial rejuvenation s very low

    This is great info. Thanks so much. The Alloy one is a tad expensive and I'm trying to eliminate products costing more than $100 from my routine, but I will try a less expensive product and try to get up to the .03% estriol daily that way. If that doesn't make any difference after a couple bottles, I'll definitely give the Alloy a shot and see if a single bottle will make a difference.
    I'm definitely looking for something to replace my One Skin now that I'm getting to the end of my 3rd bottle of that. It also lasts 2-3 months, but I just can't justify that expense for minor improvement when I'm already on tretinoin, vit-C and glycolic acid and have pretty smooth skin already.

    Hi Claudia, just this week I ordered estriol cream for my face so was excited to see this video. Great information. Not sure what percentage for this cream but was doing some research and it said estriol comes in the .03 % you mentioned. I did email the company to find out more so hoping they answer. The one you are using sounds wonderful, but pricey. Would love to try it though. I was reading that the efficacy of the estriol on the same area without rotation to other areas negates its absorption. Do you know have any information on this? The one I just started is from SMNutrition Estro-life bought it from amazon recommended by Gorgeously Aging YT...

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  Год назад +3

      Hi Annie, great to hear from you. As far as the cream you have, you want 0.3% estriol, which I am assuming yours is, as 0.03% estriol is really super low.
      I believe the rotating refers to HRT and actually wanting to raise systemic levels. But for the face, I would not worry about it.
      Yes, the one I use it unfortunately not cheap. I do really like it though and it does last for 3 months (or actually a bit longer). But I will also try to find some other alternatives down the road

      @@claudiaglows The one she mentioned doesn't actually say it is .03%
      In fact, it says there are 175mg per 3.5 ounce container. That actually works out to be a 0.18% estriol formulation. So seems instead of using the recommended 1 pump once per day, the person could just use morning and night. So may be effective product.

    Hi beautiful as usual you are doing such an amazing job on these kind of complicated subjects🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏 so i personally dont use any hormone therapies. I am about a year into pre or menopause, i still so green. Now i take a lot of different supplements. I use turkey tail mushrooms and some other mushrooms, but i am not sure if because of those, or /and since i added to my regiment, horsetail supplements, i dont have any symptoms anymore. Its not that i really had to begin, well i had for awhile little bit warmness , maybe once in awhile sweating, but Macca was helping me. But now if i take Macca , i take only 1-2 capsules per day and not 8-10 , as used them as needed. So i dont know yet what i am going to do about all these hormones. I was against , but now i am not sure and since i dont have any symptoms, i am kind of not thinking about it, for now. I am looking to get done some regenerative health treatments. I was looking for places, who does PRP or stem cells, for my hubby. He just has so much inflammation/ pain that never ends. So we did some researches, and find out, that it was some therapies, that should have been addressed by medical community. There are some protocols, that never was told to us. Ah its such a letdown, so now we are looking anything and everything, what could be done, to improve him. Because until we get the new system in- Gesara/ Nesara, med beds will not be accessible. So we have to be proactive …. So when i was looking for different procedures, i stumbled up, on this amazing medical spa, that i am so interested. Even if he doesnt. Its great to get some bio stimulators , for our skin, but i think it would work better, and would help with overall body aging, from inside out. I didnt know, that there is av this advanced ozone therapy, that filtrates your blood with oxygen and ozone and red light…., also all these iv drips for NAD and methyl blue and glutathione, when there is some other very interesting therapies. I cant wait , to get my investment, to the level, that i will get great profits, so i could take care not just about my face , but my body as well. ..,I know you are using supplements, but i think iv is much more powerful, and its not so expensive, and probably in Europe its even cheaper 😜Have a blessed day🙏❤️

    I’ve used .01 estradiol cream for a couple of years since I hit menopause I use it on my inner thighs and of course it helps several things including it helps me sleep better and so on as far as applied topically to my face and neck because I use tretinoin four nights a week and then one night a week I derma roll that only leaves me one night maybe two at best with the estradiol cream and so I’m not sure that it is helping my skin. I think it does help but I don’t think it firms my skin because I don’t use it every night. I am interested in maybe using a stronger version of it. Not sure if my doctor will provide a an RX for that, but certainly is worth asking for what do you think in terms of using one on your face that is stronger than .01 estradiol? Great video Claudia💎

    Hi Claudia. I recently found your channel and have been binge watching them. I commented on an older MN RUclips but wanted to add a comment here as well in case you don’t go back and review older videos. Would you say the Derminator 2 is more effective than the Dr Pens? I’m aware of the poor customer service they sometimes provide US customers but am willing to risk it if it’s a better product. Thanks so much !! You are the only person I’ve found who has tried them both.

    • @claudiaglows

      Hi, I’m really happy you were here. I hope that I answered your comment under the all the video. Are usually try to answer all comments. As far as the Derminator compared to the dr pen, I wouldn’t necessarily say more effective. I think if you use both of them correctly, the equally effective. But I think many people use the.dr pen incorrectly by dragging it across the skin, which, in my opinion is not a good idea
      I do have a really hard time recommending the Derminator at this point, because of the horrendous customer service. But if that is not something you’re worried about, it is a great device.

      Thank you so much for taking time to reply to me. It sounds like there is not much difference to you in terms of effectiveness so I will probably just go with the Dr Pen as it is easier for me to get and get more cartridges etc for. • @claudiaglows

      Of course! I think that is a good choice. Esp if you are going to be stamping. It is a bit difficult to stamp with the derminator. Hi Claudia! What a interesting, informative video! I have a question. I have heard that women who use HRT in cream form have to vary where they apply it, so as to keep the estrogen receptors in the skin “working”. Is that true? I was just wondering if this is the case, would applying estrogen cream to your face every night, would those estrogen receptors in your face eventually get to “used” to the estrogen cream and stop working?? Did read anything about this?

    I hope they keep doing studies on this stuff. Women deserve more research to be done to allow us to age as well as our male counterparts. The belief that “we only needed estrogen to make babies” is so 1 dimensional.
    At age 42 , so ? Perimenopause time? I am wondering if that collagen we loose 1% per year from ages 25 to menopause is partially related to declining estrogen levels too, where the estrogen is high enough to maintain fertility, but not enough to maintain the collagen renewal. It’s notable how lifelong, women experience a higher rate of facial aging change than men, even before menopause, and then tremendously so after menopause.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  Год назад

      Hi Judith, I agree with you, I hope we will keep moving forward in this field. We women have been left in the dark for too long.
      I do think that the loss of collagen, even as we are younger has probably partially to do with loss of estrogen. But also with sun exposure, stress...
