I am not saying you aren’t worth it because if you were just a little closer than a couple hours I’d pay whatever you charge to see you regarding menopause. Here is what I dring DAILY. 3 servings of Beef broth 8 ounces each Each Serving has 2 scoops or + 1 tbs of butter per serving... lightly warmed up.
I also do a Beef Broth Fast occationally (Once every couple of weeks) with the same recipe, but then I consume about 8 to 9 servings through out the day.

Everything is bio-identical . An additional option is to use 3% estriol as a face cream. Apparently it’s not supposed to affect your blood serum levels This probably needs more research .

I'm 79 and I was using hormone replacement for quite a while until there was a scare about it possibly causing heart attacks. Do you not remember that? At that point I stopped taking them and I wish I had not. Then I began to use topical but they were extremely expensive for me. Can you please address this? Younger women did not experience this and many women who did are no longer with us. I am pretty strong and healthy and do not need any pharmaceutical medicines. I treat myself, usually, with herbal remedies if I get sick (which is rare)
I have recently begun to use topical hormones again as they are no longer so costly. Curious what you think. I am healthy and active and do not have to take any pharmeceutical drugs so far.

Paraben is a preservative. You would not want to put a cream in your vagina (or anyplace else) that allowed the growth of mold and bacteria or turned rancid -- the paraben prevents this spoilage. Preservatives, in the tiny tiny amount used in products, is not remotely dangerous... but "clean beauty" influencers will try to convince everyone that it's poisonous. Clean beauty just means the product will spoil faster, which means you will have to buy it more often... which means more money in the pockets of the people shilling "clean beauty."
Remember that "the dose makes the poison." Drinking too much water can kill you, too.

One place quoted $800🧐 I hung up! 1st bloodwork labs $150 Post pellet labs $75 6wks later to check levels or make adjustments. Overall, aprx $2000 year is a small investment in good health and great skin.

I know from many, many years ago when I was in perimenopause my doctor sent me to a compound pharmacist (brick & motar) and it was hella expensive. I mean in the $400 per month area. Of course, I had to walk away. I was going to ask my doctor for vaginal cream (but not tell him what I was going to do with it) but to put it on my face, but you said don't do that. I'm so confused although you explained it well...I'm still lost. 🤔 What am I missing? I'm in my 60's and noticed everything you said around 55. So I'm missing a lot of estrogen. I went through the hot flashes, nightsweats, (in Texaa) all by my lonesome, but my skin...when I see young people on youtube saying they're 45, etc, I think to myself, "I looked good at that age too", but woke up a few years ago and said, what in the world happened. You're a doctor I can trust, but I really still, after all this, don't know what to do. Help!!!!

Most doctors (even primary care) prescribe generic bio-identical Estradiol cream like it’s an antibiotic, (or choose any over-prescribed Rx). In other words tell your doc you are complaining of either itching-say due to dryness, or painful sex, or you’re starting to have urinary incontinence, ie, when sneezing. I did originally have an issue with a few of the above and I still request it for the same thing. Doc doesn’t know I’m am now using it on my face. Don’t bother asking for an Rx for the face because most insurances aren’t going to cover for aesthetics reasons like wrinkles, obvi.

I'm on systemic HRT (Estrogel, Prometrium and testosterone).
My doctor refuses to write a scrip for compounded estradiol cream so I am kind of stuck using either vaginal estrogen cream (which in Canada is only Premarin or Estragyn - an estrone cream), or get an estriol cream from iHerb for my face. Anybody have a recommendation of a compounded cream I can request? My GYN said she has never ordered it before and doesn’t feel comfortable but if I go to her with a specific request I might be able to twist her arm (😏). PS-I’m 2 years post meno and after 4 docs she finally “allowed” me HRT…why is this so freaking hard?!

I'm wondering if you could ask her to compound an Rx similar to the Estrace Vaginal Cream/Estradiol Vagina Cream 0.01% compounded without the paraben? So a compounded RX with 0.01% Estradiol in a non Comedogenic or allergy free base. Some people get extra ingredients added like Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, or a peptide base.

Yep that's exactly what the bioidentical hormones are typically made from and yes they can work great on the face. If compounded they are probably safe for intra labial and vaginal as well.

Studies please. Musely Came out with a study that shows Estradiol cream works barely better than placebo for women not on HRT. So if you’re on HRT, is it even worth it. I don’t disagree with all the benefits of estradiol that are outlined here, But that still doesn’t prove that applying it to your skin works.

Sorry its MyAlloy that did the study. The way they talk about the results is misleading because it’s all about improvement compared to placebo for women not on HRT. I would like to see improvement compared to other skin products and also in women on HRT. You can find the study by going to the MyAlloy site.

I can’t speak for anybody else, but I can’t say that it has worked for me. (The M4 cream is estriol combined with aloe and hyaluronic acid.)

I got cystic acne from increased testosterone. I never had skin problems in my life. I told my doctor this was going to be a big issue for me. Spironolactone suppresses the DHT in testosterone that can cause hair loss, acne and other issues. He prescribed Spironolactone and no further problems from with acne from testosterone.
