- In today's vlog we head to the Disney Character Warehouse outlet in the Premium Outlets Vineland location. We found some pretty good deals and they even had some things that we just saw in the parks for full price! Then we head to Portillo's for lunch, which was amazing as always. I heard Tim drop something and say “oh brother”. Then talking about the star cruiser and saying “oh brother” You guys can add these to the list of reasons you would say “oh brother” to Jackson.
It's a variation of "oh bother" as something Pooh would say when he runs out of honey.

Great job, Tim & Jenn. We just returned from Orlando (took Amtrak from Cleveland to Orlando, round trip).
Per your recommendations in previous vlogs, we visited the Character Warehouse. We visited on a Thursday, arrived about noon and it was busy, but, cleared out by the time we left at 1pm. We purchased the Mr. Toad mug (for my barber), the white Disneyland shorts (both featured in this vlog) and a couple of Magic Bands).
We also visited Portillo’s near the condo we stayed at in Kissimmee, the day we checked in. My hubby had the beef dipped in au jus. I had the Plant Based Garden Dog and the Maxwell Street Polish Sausage. All were great. The Crinkle-cut fries were excellent!
Thank you for sharing your adventures through your vlogs. We started watching your vlogs in 2020 (using my hubby’s RUclips account), during the pandemic. We had a trip to Orlando planned for November, 2020 that we paid for in January of that year. Your vlogs about park status, restaurants, etc. help us decided to visit Orlando that November. We have enjoyed your vlogs ever since.

I love shopping at the outlets! Always such great deals, and you’re right, they often have things there that are currently full price at the parks. Love the home vlogs!! ❤❤❤

Next time you are at Portillo try the chopped salad. It’s delicious and has a great tasting Italian dressing. Hopefully your Portillo includes their homemade bread with the salads. The bread makes the whole meal yummy.
The outlets were jamming to mid 2000s Disney music! The one you both asked about was from Freaky Friday (Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis played an incredible guitar solo in scenes it was played). Also after that was Dig It from Holes. I just love that whoever picks the music for these stores must be a late millennial who grew up watching Disney Movies from the early-mid 2000s.
I love the character warehouses. We literally go there first get what things we maybe”need” before we go to the park.

The Cow Palace is still here in San Francisco. Every year they have a fun Dickens Christmas Fair.

Fun fact: one of those posters at Portillos listed The Chordettes” known for singing “Mr Sandman” and one of the original members Nancy Overton was the mom of comedian Rick Overton who was in Willow, The Rocketteer and Mrs Doubtfire.
The Disney Outlet store has some great cap 🧢 options too I do love the turning red cap ❤🐼& the Castaway Cay cap also ☀️,those are my personal favourites

Love your video of Disney outlet - Portillo‘s is from Chicago area which we are from - it’s know for the hot dogs and Italian beef. Peppers and ajuga - which not a gravy. It’s a beef broth , which you either dip or and as you did soak your bun with it. Try the chopped salad (share) then share a piece of chocolate cake. Great way to end a shopping day . Keep sharing your adventures 😊

I'm sat here paused at 38:00 looking at the Cow Palace poster and am so confused. Buddy Holly died in 1959 (as noted just a few minutes previously in the video!) but he's listed on that poster for a show in 1965??
Warehouse is a must do when we go down to Disney. Hope the pink fuzzy Crocs are still there when I get there next.

Hi Tim & Jen wow there’s so much Disney Merchandise at the outlet store everything looks really good the candles 🕯 look so good I definitely love the Snow White poison apple ☠️🍎 candle 🕯 & the haunted Mansion Candle 🕯 too,, love the churro candle too
They have some really good mugs & Christmas merchandise also I’m not the biggest fan of the Disney cruise merchandise but I definitely like all the cruise 🚢 merchandise it looks definitely cool,,

I LOVE Portillos ever since I moved from Chicago to Portland I crave it and miss it so much its the best. The chopped salad is so good you should get it next time Jen
Thanks for this. It brought me back to 2022 when we visited the outlet store, hours after landing at MCO and based on your videos of it. Loved it there and got a good haul from it. And you’re right, there is no outlet for Disneyland Paris merch. Pity, as that is my park…

Original Chi-town-er here. Portillo’s is basically Chi-town street food. Steak n Shake is a far cry 😂! Must-try’s:

I’m so glad you love Portillos! My family in Chicago introduced me to it and found one near Disneyland in CA. Jenn gets her Italian Beef dry with a side of gravy like me!! It was always my daughters and my fav place (in Buena Park). Wish we had an Outlet near us!!!
I love Portillos burgers. Also the cheese fries are great! The salad is really good too, with the house bread and butter.

Coming from the birthplace of Portillos I highly recommend ordering a combo (beef w/italian sausage) and my wife swears by the chopped salad!

I agree with you Jenn about Manta. My memory of it from my last time is that anyone large chested will be quite uncomfortable on the ride. I recall it being a lot of pressure and is was the most disappointing ride of my trip because of it.

This is a little random but our steak and shake does not have servers anymore, you order at the counter and pick it up when it’s ready like at Portillo’s. I wonder if it is like that everywhere now? I live very close to Chicago and Portillos is one of my favorites! I only wish i lived in Orlando so I could do the outlet and Portillos, seems like a perfect daytime date!

I live in Chicago and we ❤ Portillo's. My go to is the beef and Chocolate Cake shake. They use to have a salmon Cesar salad that was delish- so sad when they removed it from their menu 😕.

Oh my goodness, as someone who used to live in Chicago, portillo's is amazing. That is a Chicago staple and yes the absolute best items are the Maxwell street Polish and the Italian beef. maxwell street Polish was my go to around Chicago

Hey Jenn I grew up eating Portilio's Italian beef sandwiches. Wanted to tell you that you should try the beef and get it half dipped in the gravy, that's how I loved them.
This one is for Jen, just watching you at the outlets reminded me that you had mentioned wanting to go through a bunch of your stuff and put it up online. I tried Depop and got zero interest, BUT then did Poshmark, and I’m loving it! It feels great to clear out what doesn’t suit me anymore AND you can get great deals on stuff. Plus it’s for more than clothes- home stuff, electronics, kids toys- it’s awesome. Just thought I’d share. Let me know if you want to try it. I can give you my code and I think it gets you a $10 credit to start with. I really think you’d like the simplicity of how it works. Easy when you don’t have a lot of time.

My normal order at Portillo's is Italian Beef Dipped with Sweet & Hot Peppers, Hot Dog with Everything, Soda, and Chocolate Cake! Had it twice this past weekend in Madison, WI while their for high school hockey!

I shop at the Columbia Factory Outlet Store here in Vegas myself, I bought a OmniHeat Puffer Jacket & a OmniTech Rain Jacket, both for $150. Can’t go wrong with Columbia 😎👍

As far as I know there isn't an outlet in France (definitely not close to DLP!) but it may be because they've got quite strict sale regulations there (the entire country has specific dates they can run end of season sales). We have a Disney outlet website in the UK as part of shopdisney but it's not got a lot on there!
