- In today's vlog I run my first ever RunDisney Race! This is my full experience running the 10K during the RunDusney Marathon Weekend! We started with my night of camping in my car at Disney Fort Wilderness so I could be closer to the race since I had to get up at 3am to be there! Then we head to EPCOT for the race. It was so much fun! There were characters, live music and live entertainment all throughout the course. And then I finished the race!! Thank you for being there with me throughout the whole thing! Seeing you and Nick run together made me realize what I was missing during my first Disney 10K last year, a running buddy! I ran by myself the whole time and it was kinda meh, quite the difference from running the 5K with my mom the previous morning. So that'll be my new goal for my next set of races: find a fun running buddy! Congrats on your finish! 😁
My favorite part was the message to Jackson. It made my heart MELT imagining Jackson so proud of his dad.

That is exactly what stops me from running in the races. I am not an early morning person.
I have friends who did the Dopey challenge and they said it’s not the running that gets you, it’s waking up that early 4 days in a row.
When you have babies, you get used to it

Congratulations Tim! I did the Princess Half Marathon in 2010 and it was a wonderful experience. Yes you can do more Disney races, but if you go up to the Half or the Full make sure you have more miles under your belt! I’ve done about 15 marathons and too many Half marathons to count and training is the key to not hitting the wall and getting the most enjoyment out of the race and most importantly preventing injuries! So glad that this race was a good experience for you! Looking forward to seeing more!

Tim, I think you just inspired me to do the runDisney! Really looked like alot of fun! All the meet and greet stops, everyone cheering everyone one, the bands! And was that the Candlelight Processional choir at the end? This was so motivational! I think I know now why so many run marathons and I see some get emotional at the end. Yesss 🎉 I've done MANY runDisney races since 2013. I love that you did this and got to experience running at Disney...there's nothing like it!
