Take the GT3-T to Centre Gravity to get the geometry set-up for road driving. They are magicians when it comes to suspension tuning and have had a lot of 992 GT3 Touring owners in. The cars are also supposed to respond well to a less extreme tyre like a P Zero or PS4S
Very interesting developments re touring. Tyres or PDK perhaps the issue? Sounds like it might be in the sea very soon. Eagerly awaiting future updates.
Tom I’ve just bought a 49000 mile 997C4S cab tiptronic as my other half struggles with a manual. But we love it. I know the fanboys aren’t fans of the tip but once it learns the way you want it to respond it’s great. Just a needs a 6th gear! Great looking cars!!
I agree Tom the 997s are definitely more connected feeling to the road then 991 and 992. The electric steering rack being one of best of any manufacturers still don't feel near as good as hydraulic steering. I would like to try the new gt3rs or gt4rs though. Did you get an allocation on any of those?
Agree with Tom. I'm lucky enough to own a 997.1 C2S manual and it's a cracking machine. Great for a Sunday afternoon blast and shot of driving goodness.

Where in the Cotswolds did you take the pictures of the 997 Tom ? I agree the 997 is undervalued and under the radar at the moment but when the 911 goes hybrid and (eventually) all electric the 997 is going to look like a real sweet spot and demand/values will climb accordingly.
Being an adult is HARD work. We are moving from FL to KS in a few months. Getting this house ready to sell and buying another house there.....UGH! As a teen we had ZERO worries. What parties to go to, what person to date...etc...

I had a 2020 992 S and sold it. My back aches I’m 6 ft 2 getting in and out the 4 ways standard seats didn’t have lumber support. It was a lovely car but ordering my second Macan this time I’m getting a GTS Macan. I’ve had 5 Porsches.
Give the Touring a chance Like you, I've not had a chance to run my car in properly with the crap weather and Cup2 tyres. Maybe you'll think differently on a sunny warm day in June with the full 9k revs available. Loved my old 997C2s back in the day btw

Harry Metcalf found the GT3 steering a bit too much when drove it. I saw Sam from 'Seen through glass' changed the tyres on his GT3 to Pirelli's from Michelin . That's meant to help road manners.

I have a 991.1 C4GTS (PDK) and a 996 C4S (MANUAL) best of the bunch in my opinion, tried a 992 and I feel they have went to far. Good Video keep buying the 997's and ill keep buying your tickets 🙂

@@NCB583 regardless these things significantly impact the value of the car, so whatever the price of entry is, the prize is more valuable with those boxes ticked. Obviously you would be very much quids up whatever the condition of the car, even if you bought the max number of tickets, I think everyone realises that.

What you really need on the channel is a Ferrari Manual F430. The one from the car guys video is for sale at Paddlup.

I've heard there's an ST 992 coming out which is a GTS with the GT3 engine which is probably more of what you want than your Touring
