  • This is a wooly bugger tied on a light ned rig jig hook. I add rubber legs to my wooly bugger patterns most of the time for added action, but especially when I’m tying one for bass. This little jig is great on an ultralight or light rod. At 3”-4” long it had the ability to entice some large fish. Large fish on light gear is always a good time.
    Hook: 1/16 oz Ned rig jig head
    Thread: Olive
    Tail: Barred olive brown marabou
    Back Legs: olive silly legs
    Hackle: Chartreuse grizzly neck hackle
    Front Legs: Olive silly legs
    Body: Olive brown sparkle chenille
    Collar: Olive saddle hackle
