- a walk round my land rover based rat rod wrecker , this is my last video on it as ive sold it ...
based on a 109 series 3 landrover chassis,with a 1946 chevy pick up cab . running a classic range rover front axle and a defender salisbury axle to the rear, with the axle on top of the springs ,,,powered by a land rover v8 of 3.5 litre 215 cu, weber 38 dgas carb. 5 speed manual gearbox....and a harvey frost crane on the back , see the full build here.... • the hook build series

My buddy Gary build a unit similar to yours and I'll have to get a photo of it and send it off to you. No promises on date tho.
Typically he uses his for moving vehicles about the yard ....we've also used it for removing a porch off a home and tearing out timber retaining walls . Never had so much fun using it and pissed ourselves wrecking shit.

Wow, I've a 93 Discovery V8 that I've wanted to cut up and throw an old truck cab on, for the last two years. Only thing stopping me, is I haven't found a cab. Very cool to find this.

@@oakswamp Thank you Brother. There are so many things to do before even starting a project. There is always that apprehension before the first video. I am sure the first few will not be the greatest editing wise. I always love raw videos where people leave all the little screwups and stuff in. It makes me feel like I am right there with them. Hopefully a lot of other people feel that way also.

@@oakswamp alright Man, we know eachother, I've got the Nissan Micra k11 with ratty Japanese flag on the roof, I've been trying to find your channel , you said you had a RUclips channel ages ago when I saw you at the gun in Hamble, I couldn't remember it, and forgot for a while, then some random bloke in Hedge end told me about your channel, he'd said something about the Hound ( my car "The Grey Hound " ) and I said I didn't try to make it look new , I leave it a bit ratty on purpose, any way... I love The channel 😍, I love the Music too, I can play guitar, Banjo and a few other things... I've been keeping an eye out for you because I'm having a bit of trouble with the Black mamba ( my moped) engine, I think it might have a small crack on the bottom end, the top end has 125 lbs of pressure, I was wondering if you could have a look at it, I'm not after favours or charity.. the MOT runs out in the next few days , I can ride it ( 15 mph or so) legally, I only live in Butlocks heath, if it needs welding it wouldn't need to look pretty..
@@oakswamp , oh , p.s the only real hurry for me would be legally getting it somewhere without having to use a van or something, it won't matter when I get it fixed as a I have the car
