You're either a troll or pathetically ignorant if you believe Latinos are responsible for obscuring this history. It's the White establishment that omitted our presence in history only to turn around and portray us in the most stereotypical and negative light. When wealthy White folks like Trump were dodging the draft, young Latino men were serving and dying in disproportionate numbers. Latinos are basically the invisible community in this country despite being the largest minority group and predating Anglos in regions like the Southwest.

Brig General Robert Cardenas would have been a good interviewee. Not only did he fly B-24 Liberators in the European theatre, he went on to test pilot school and actually commanded the B-29 that carried the Bell X-1, the plane that broke the sound barrier. The X-1 was flown by Chuck Yeager. Cardenas also test flew an assortment of aircraft after the X-1 program.

What's funny is the video actually falls to mention the New Mexico National Guard, 200th Coastal Artillery Regiment (AA), the first Mexican American unit to fight in World War 2. The 200th fought bravely and well in the defense of the Philippine Campaign in '41-'42 before surrendering to the Japanese. Subsequently, many of its soldiers marched in the horrific Bataan Death March.

For example ships from Germany bought by French and are involved against USA during WWII and the Prairie in Hawaii when it was suppose to be in Virgina. Had a telegram that stated all ships to Hawaii at time of attack. I watch a film where the King of England was at Hawaii radios....made me wonder how everything really happen. I was not looking for this info just stumbled on it. I really like this video in an educatinal manner. And I cried with them.
