Thank you for reading my comment to Lara Fabian. I am from Estonia (small country in Europe). Now you know. I will add some comments I read - if one comes across with Marvel one needs to comprehend what one is facing:
One lady (Psyche Inc … channel) uses two words: earthy and sublime. The last one is said about Broken vow 1999. - I think these two words are pointing out TWO SIDES of LF which are CONNECTED in one person. About the first one can be said: she is always with her body (that gives her freedom to do with her voice what she wants and what is needed to do by singing).
Someone wrote: she becomes a song. -- I think for LB is essential that she BECOMES one with the song she is doing.
Last one is about Je suis malade 1999 (I quote).
This is one of the most complete, emotionally generous, technically perfect and theatrically coherent singing exhibitions I have ever heard in my life while taking the French Chanson to another level. The ability to flow virtuosically and so naturally from a narrating airy pianissimo to a full painful round singing, always choosing the "right" color is of a truly rare quality. This is beyond singing. This is a cathartic humanly experience when pain and beauty merge to oneness. The highest level of a performing Art. Thank you for introducing this phenomena. I didn't know her before.

Missed the live reaction due to a meeting, but watching now, and having a BLAST! Dunno when this lady breathes, and her vocal control is outta this world. Guitarist is fantastic, too! Not surprising, given her caliber, that she works with such first-rate musicians. This was a fun one, and you can see her playing with the performance, from eyes that can swallow the pacific to that little 'goodbye' wave. Every little touch is gold. Loved this reaction. Hugs to y'all.

I love how playful they are together!
Floor is INTENSE!!!!! Whatever she does ( and she does everything!!), she never fails to pump emotions by the tons into your heart. This is angry Floor. If my girlfriend would give me that look I would hit the street and disappear over the horizon! Fantastic performance. And that guitar is shredded into nothing but separate atoms. She simply is the best at everything.
An underrated song from the Northward project (the best visual you can get is below fan made lyric video (by
Metal Lyric Videos)) is "Big Boy" and it is now and then a bit "provocative" ....
The guitar work (not only the intro) by Jørn Viggo makes it my fav. BTW this is possibly also about her boyfriend Sander (the growling guy in After Forever) who cheated on her with their vocal coach and that was the main reason (I think) AF ended too soon. After 10 tears she is stil angry, don't mess with a Valkyrie queen😡

I love what you said near the end of the video. "Jerks don't work". Regardless of the industry, it pays to be nice to people and to make friends. Too many people lose sight of that and only see other people as pieces to move on their chessboard or worse, competitors to push aside.
This is my favourite non-NW Floor song too! It reminds me of a lot of Joan Jett (largely because of the attitude and the guitar sound I think), but I can definitely see Pat Benetar as well. As for competition and cooperation, what I love about collaborative projects (orchestras, choirs, bands, but also projects outside of music) is that you are still pushing yourself, but not to be "top dog" - rather, it's "what can I do better to make this project the best it can be?" That's very human.
Her birthday is the 21st of next month. She's working on songs for her next album

It's about the harsh and ugly break-up Floor had with her former fiance.
