I did the border in a different color than the blanket. I preferred doing the 4 stitches in a single crochet instead of a double. Snugged the border up nicer to the blanket. Very pretty border.

This is one of my favorite blanket borders! Babies love silky borders, so I usually use Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn or Loops & Threads Facets yarn and go around the whole blanket with this border. Not only does it look beautiful, but it's so soft and silky. It's the perfect finish for any blanket. It doesn't hurt that those yarns are available in such beautiful colors either!
