Your little shed is adorable! We are soon moving to the country to a much smaller house with a large place for gardens. I was very sad knowing I would have to likely give up my vintage kitchen cabinet which is very similar to yours. You just gave me a brilliant idea that will utilize it so that I can properly store my garden tools and not give away my lovely cabinet. thank you for sharing your space.
Love the makeover. It was nice to see the bits of the shed we havent seen before. Also, my Grandmother's home had a "tin" roof and i loved sitting on her porch in a rocking chair and listening to the rain drops on it. I have always wanted a roof like that for this reaso . I hope your new roof gives you that pleasure.
the quiet time you spoke of is a perfect time to reflect on any future plans and project for the plot. ( and have a cup of tea, of course )...................brian
And you know Katie the best thing about that new roof is sitting inside listening to the rain hammering on top thats one of my fav relaxing things to enjoy. its looking really well, nice work to the both of you.
I hope so although I reckon the wooden roof will drown it slightly... If it does it's going to remind me of good memories camping and holidaying in a caravan when I was younger. Thank you
The roof looks perfect on your shed! Love the new color inside, too. The cabinet looks like it was made for that shed! Thank you for taking us along on the makeover. Sorry about the lost footage. I really like your herb drying rack!
Thank you so much and I was a bit silly, pressed delete all instead of delete one! The cabinet is an old 1950's kitchen cabinet but I love it so much, and I plan on using the herb rack more next year :)
Your little purple shed makes ME happy too. I can imagine how you feel to look out into your garden there and sip tea. You are inspiring to this so so gardener and I love the sweet vibe your gardens give off, I do strive for that same feel on my homestead here in the US.
Your shed looks really good Katie. Glad you’ve got your roof done before the worst of the winter weather. Sounds like a great place to sit and think. Take care. Nick
Such a lovely little space and I totally get the idea of it being a haven. My daughter and I have a garden space as well and I have at times just gone there to have some time to myself. I don't have a shed but I still enjoy being there. The bees and birds and even the float planes landing near by are okay : )) We all need that alone time to regroup and just be still for a bit.
Thank you so much Sherry and you are absolutely right, everybody needs a place they can go to to just relax. I'm so glad you have your own little space to do just that, enjoy it!
Love the update! This has really put my old shed to shame and yet inspired me to clear it out and give it a much needed makeover of its own! Lovely to see you. Katrina Homegrown.Garden
Katie your shed is looking absolutely amazing. I love the care and attention you pay. Your videos are always such an inspiration as my partner and I wait on several waiting lists in the Glasgow area to finally get ours. I've already been inspired to up-cycle and source vintage goods for when that time arrives. One question - where did you get your wee oven from?
Thank you and fingers crossed you get one soon! I love upcycling and actually found my shed on Gumtree for £30.00, obviously it needed some work but it makes it more fun doesn't it? I buy nearly everything second hand, the quality is just so much better! The Calor B700 gas oven was another bargain from Ebay which again needed a little work but was totally worth it. Search for a caravan or boat cooker and you'll find one
Also just checked out your amazing shop - www.lavenderandleeks.co.uk/shop/ - will be a regular customer on here also - fingers crossed for allotment soon, loving your products!!!
It looks so so lovely I haven't even got a shed on my plot yet.... Love that lavender and Rosemary hanging up drying. Do you use the lavender for anything? Or just for the smell and looking lovely. Thanks for the videos :)
Thank you so much, are you allowed sheds on your allotment site? I think there's some radish seed hanging there too... I really want to use more lavender next year with baking, I went to a lavender farm a couple of years back and they had lavender flavoured victoria sponges and scones, delicious!
Lavender and Leeks Oh that's nice I want to bake with it too last year I got 5 little plug plants now I have 7 little plants I've just planted one that was left in a pot at the allotment today :) Yes we can have sheds some people have big ones too but I only just got my plot in march and that's one of the things I haven't got round to I'm planning on building one my self but we'll see how that goes lol I have a greenhouse and a little shelter in the entrance for now when it rains.
I've just got my first allotment site and looking for inspo for my shed! How did you find your mini cooker? I can only find full size ones or just the hob. Thanks in advance!
I think your shed is adorable!! Would you consider not putting up that gutter & opt for a rain-chain instead? Oh I don’t sell em or anything I just thought it would add to the charm!!

An allotment without a shed is only half an allotment. ... I love your shed. x
I'd be completely lost without mine!
The roof looks perfect on your shed! Love the new color inside, too. The cabinet looks like it was made for that shed! Thank you for taking us along on the makeover. Sorry about the lost footage. I really like your herb drying rack!

Happy New Year Katie Dear
Happy New year, have a wonderful 2018
Blessings
A proper roof, at last!
Nice Katie
Thank you
Is that purple pancy?? The name of the purple paint????
No, funnily enough it's Cuprinol Lavender :)
That is your Zen tine.
Very much so!
Where did you get your oven from ?
Where is that cute little doll someone made you?
Little Katie lives at home, I was worried that she might get ruined in the shed during the damp Winter and I didn't want that happening
Cosy :-)
Very cosy! Almost too cosy...
The shet looks nice....enjoy.
Going to adopt your father :)
Haha!
Magic, can I borrow your Dad?!
Ha! He's a little busy at the moment doing the kitchen and living room up at home...
