Ordered myself a 16’ DC GDD trailer in Industrial Orange to haul lumber to and from Montana for our family cabin project. Pumped to see it when it’s ready! Ordered 8 extra sets of 3/4” LED running lights, so it will be looking real good on the Highway
I have a dump trailer that has been around for a year and had a problem with the DM coating that was coming off and they fixed it for me and it is the only one I have seen with that problem but I like them and I recommend them
I bought a tilt trailer and it is rusting. Quality control is missing. Another problem is that the welds are not continuous. So the primer and powder coat can not get into those small crevices. The most anoying problem is, that all three left tires are rubbing against the fender and I am constantly replacing tires. I tried to adjust the fender but there is a metal channel that won't let me do it. Very disapointing.
We hate to hear the issues you are experiencing with your trailer! If you haven't contacted a dealer about this, we would be more than happy to help you. Please send your VIN number and contact information to contactus@diamondc.com.
You're rushing your guys then. That media blasting quality is nothing to be proud of. I really love your trailers and that you guys share your process, but you could use some major quality control in your media blasting. I can clearly see that they're not following consistent patterns. Very sad to see on such nice trailers. Won't stop me from buying one when I can afford one, but maybe I'll have to factory order it and come down there and media blast it myself!
I have a 3 year old Diamond C car hauler with the DM coating. The coating is horrible peels /flakes right off the metal. My car hauler trailer stays inside and the coating still doesn't last. I would never recommend the Diamond C DM coating.
Hey Ben, we appreciate the feedback and we sincerely apologize for the issues you are encountering with your car hauler. We currently have Jeff in our warranty department reviewing this matter.
I ordered my trailer back in July. I got my trailer at the end of October and within 2 weeks, it was back at the shop for paint issues and other issues right off the line. I took it to Diamond C and they are fixing everything that is wrong with it. The only big problem is now I waited 3 months to get it and I sold my other trailer for a down-payment on this one and now I'll be without a trailer for my bussniess for about a month. This is unacceptable fix the Q/C issues. You have a good product and stand behind your warranty but less than 2 weeks and my trailer looked like it was sitting in the lot for the 3 months it was on order. This should have never left the lot...FIX Q/C (fire and rehire)! Then on top of the $19,000 for the trailer, I spent "x" to bring it back to Diamond C 6 hrs away and trying to get reimbursed. Guess we will see how this goes...fuel, room, and food isn't cheap nor my time. Hopefully they make it right as I am not asking for much.
Quality is our number one priority and we do our very best to ensure our team is trained properly and have the necessary equipment to thoroughly check our trailers. If you haven't done so already, please send us your VIN & contact information to contactus@diamondc.com to look into this situation.
