I own a blasting and painting company. We have done many powder coated trailers. Your line of trailers seem to hold up better. You should look into RPB Nova 3 blast hoods, C40 Climate controllers and a Radex breathing cartridge. Your blasters will love you! I guarantee your production will increase. If you select the hood/jacket combo, your blaster will be a comfortable 70° inside of it when it is 95° outside
We have been trying to talk our managers into getting a blast system for our powder coat line for years. right now our rust removal and prep system is a couple guys with palm sanders.
Dang no wonder why if feels so thick is because of the primer and everything you guys put on it. I love my MDT industrial orange. Only thing was at my dealer. They scraped the top of it and they scratched through the powder coat but it's right underneath my boards. Luckily I was able to buy some touch-up paint from you guys along with my panel hitch also. 🤘🏽🇺🇸 Great company and great people working for you guys. Keep up the great work Diamond C 💪🏽. One thing, wish you guys would offer the mega tongue box on the MDTs. It would be nice to be able to use up more room for chains and binders
I kind of wish that I had paint on my 14k LPD for ease of touch ups. The powder coating is flaking and showing rust in places and rusting on the underside where the frame meets the crossmembers. It’s probably 5-6 years old and honestly looks a bit rough. Which is fine to an extent because it is a dump trailer.
I really like your trailers, they are very good, I have one that I bought less than a year ago and I have a big problem, the powder coat under the bed is falling off in several areas, I filed my claim where I bought it and I am waiting for the answer I hope they can fix it I am disappointed with this problem because I know they are good Trailas
I bought a power coated trailer. It's not even 6 months old. Only used it a couple times and it's rusted out all over. Company is claiming gravel caused it to rust out. It was stored in a shed until recently used just 2x. Can anyone help me?
My mom would tear your shot blasters apart... That is not a nice uniform blasted surface! When my mom taught me how to glass bead, I used that when I worked in an industrial steel shot bay. My wheels came out so good the company ignored I was 25% slower. I'm actually a bit surprised you would show off such inconsistent shot blasting results. Your arguments are great about prep work, but your prep work could use some improvement. I got to see a really neat power coat system in Germany. They had a massive tunnel that went from the factory to a sorting warehouse. That long tunnel was used to air cool the parts. The whole production chain must have been massive as it was a closed circuit. I really appreciate you sharing your process and I still am of the opinion that if I can ever afford one, I want to custom order a gooseneck dump for my Titan XD from you!
I assume that you know that using steel shot not only de-scales the steel but also conditions the steel for a better finish but also conditions the surface like shot peening fort a stronger tougher trailer. How many cracks are reported of Diamond C trailers?
Powder coating is just a plastic coating that will get chalky and brittle over time enamel may chip but it is far superior as it can be basically resprayed in the field powder coat has to be completely removed and recoated or just leave it a chalky mess
I was very pleased when i rolled under my new HDT210 and saw that the underside looked as good as the topside
😎👍

I fell for that too. My tilt trailer is rusting like crazy and it is only a bit over a year old. Quality control is missing. My 40 foot 310 is fine.

Appreciate the comment! 😊
Hey can you show me what trailers look like in salty road climates after 4 or 5 years of use?
Knowing that your coating is a Sherwin Williams product just further solidifies that you all build the best trailers

Hey Juan! We're sorry to hear that! Please shoot us an email to feedback@diamondc.com with your VIN # and we can look into this. 👍
❤love it
Is it steel grit or steel shot that you use? They are two different things.
Steel Grit is what we use to blast the bb's and rust off the trailers 🤓
