Ohhh, I really like the Purple Throated Mountain Gem, so pretty. But in all honesty, they were all gorgeous. I also found the one species with the highly curved beak especially interesting. That particular species looks as though it's very specialized to feeding on something that the other Hummers can't.

What a gorgeous video, I live nearby in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, and I noticed many of my favorite local resident hummingbirds. I made a few videos sometime ago about a hummingbird bathing station in the forest where I live, I think you might enjoy them. The Western Caribbean Slope of Panama has some unbelievable hummers. Thank you for what you are doing, I know it takes a tremendous amount of time, effort and money to accomplish. Thanks to your efforts, through education, your art brings awareness to the fragile ecosystems and specialized habitats hummingbirds and other avifauna need to survive. Well done!

Just amazing how many hummingbirds that we never have seen. Thanks to you, we are able to see all these unique birds. You would show one and I would say"That is my favorite". Then in the next sequence you show another beautiful hummer and I say "this one is my favorite". That went on the whole film. It is like an Mother Nature went wild with her pain brush to create all these beautiful birds. Thank You for allowing me and everyone else the opportunity to see these unique and beautiful creatures.

It remains hard for me to imagine there are so many stunning species like this in our natural world. The Purple-crowned Fairy is stunning, my favorite of the video and very close to topping my favorite of all time list! This was such a great video recap of species you’ve photographed, and I love the video quality. Those stretches are too precious!

Thanks to your channel I now know the species that visit my feeder. I live in Guatemala and so far I've seen Rivoli's hummingbird, violetear and white eared. Hope you come to Guatemala soon 🇬🇹💙

No they don't. About nineteen species have been seen in the United States. There are more than 350 species of hummingbirds. Most of them are in Central and South America.
