These same people who close these lands will gladly approve new housing developments.

If you love the outdoors in Utah, share this story with everyone you know. It's already one of the top news stories on Fox 13 and we need this kind of coverage.
David Pals from BLM stated that there's "still 3600 miles of trails open for OHV in the area" where they closed 317 miles-That is not true, was it a deliberate lie to steer the narrative or another example of the cavalier and careless manner they used in preparing the plan? You decide

Actually it’s worse than what you can imagine. They have a plan that every 10-15 years they’ll continue to do updates leading to even more restrictions.
You need to understand this is coming from the UN and all the climate malthusians!
It has zero to do with “sustainability” - please listen to James Lindsey on esoteric language.
If there’s one way to think of this - it’s no different from how Marx advocated for seizing the means of production.
Communism - early stages and there’s no “finish line” either
We will never be “sustainable” enough nor conserve enough or reduce emissions “enough”
It’s nothing but a land grab that government will hand over to the “stakeholders” - they love their bs word games like “public private partnerships”
Just go listen to some James Lindsey and hope you have a lot of coffee and notepads ready!!!
Remember: they’re not going to just come out and say: “hi, we want to turn the country into a corporate owned feudalism version of communism”. Nope - instead they will use nullification techniques so when you disagree they will say you’re “against preservation,” just like they blanket label any n all dissenting voices as “far” right…. 🤣
And the entire sector of corporate “journalists” are bought n paid for by the non governmental organizations which are funded by corporations and behind other layered sources like gates soros etc…
I believe they called it ____ by 2045 where ____ is the millions of acres of federal land they want to exclude access
Google now hides all the research so have fun finding it and nobody in Moab will discuss it because they’re too busy with their beards flat billed hats and complaining about Trump 🤣🤣🤣

Keep all of the trails/RS2477 roads Open

    • @justlucky13

      From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Revised Statute 2477, commonly known as RS 2477 was enacted by the United States Congress in 1866 to encourage the settlement of the Western United States by the development of a system of highways. Its entire text is one sentence: "the right-of-way for the construction of highways across public lands not otherwise reserved for public purposes is hereby granted."
The original grant did not require being recorded, meaning it was self-enacting, and in 1866 constructing a road often meant using a trail many times and perhaps filling low places, moving rocks and placing signs.
It granted to counties and states a right-of-way across federal land when a highway was built.
RS 2477 was repealed in 1976 under the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA). The repeal was subject to "valid existing rights." The relevant text (Sec. 701. 43 U.S.C. 1701) reads (a) "Nothing in this Act, or in any amendment made by this Act, shall be construed as terminating any valid lease, permit, patent, right-of-way, or other land use right or authorization existing on the date of approval of this Act".[1]

Those are Native American Lands I think we should challenge those claims from the BLM.

You guys better fight for your right to access public lands because if you give an inch they will take a mile. This is just the beginning and they will not be happy will not be happy until everything is closed.

You got it all wrong, we love the land and take great care of it. Yes, we drive vehicles, but our joy is far less about the driving than to enjoy our beautiful land. Last year my local group in SW Utah had 100 OHV people working on BLM land doing restoration work for 2 solid days…nearly 1200 hours on this one project alone, and OHV groups around the state spend countless hours on BLM and Forest Service projects. What have you done?

Some people can't see the land any other way. Making fun with your "childhood fantasies" comment is as childish as you can be.

I regularly walk n hike many of the jeep roads outside of moab and 100% of them are classy and courteous.
Now - the side by side owners using our street as a dragstrip within the city is another story and we do have moab pd nailing them hard with citations and duii’s
NOBODY loves fast cars and the outdoors more than me - so I see both sides.
If only we could arrange a cage match between the jeep people and the side by side people- my $ if on the jeep people 🤣
