I am really enjoying some of the recent vids like this and the break 85/80 vids. Great to have some more serious vids amongst the fun and banter ones. Tough day Liam but crikey, if golf was predictable we wouldn’t all be hooked on it!

Liam, i can relate, i play to a 3 handicap, and had my worst round in a couple years on Sunday, i just had a good laugh with my mates and thought onto myself, oh well, there is always next weekend! Great to see you stay positive despite not swinging it well.

As a 65 year old whose just taken up golf, both rounds over 100, I sympathise with you, you make it look so easy normally but of all your videos, this one gives me the hope that even I can get better! Liam. Please do more videos of your comps (if allowed). This is in the top 3 vids you’ve done. Anyone who’s played comps before knows the pressure it brings compèred to playing with mates. So easy and relaxing with mates but a comp is tough. Also, I had the same issues with our greens the other week.. the whole country has had it too judging by the lack of rain we had in April. Keep up the great work 🏌️♂️
Early in the round...swing pace beautiful & relaxed ...driver swing plane flat giving you a push slice with the face open at impact...lift your arc & stay down..When exasperation kicks in, then you come over the top and slice properly...but if you stay down...a straight pull. With your irons you're crowding the ball and pulling ... Watch your vids in slow motion. Easy fix....confidence will return

I'm no coach Liam but it looks like you're 'reaching' a bit with your driver. Your best swings are when your arms just hang down loose rather than pushing your arms forward in front of you. Keep grinding mate, we've all been there!

I like how you put yourself out there but what you just showed is no editing or manipulation just real golf, everyone who plays this game has been where you feel your game is at the moment, its draining and horrible but you clear your head, dont over analyse and push through which i know you will cause all it takes is one great shot, keep at it mate, cheers

Being new to golf and a 47 H/C I was encouraged by your very honest and open video. It is very intimidating for a new starter to want to play mates with better H/C’s but after your video you have shown me that experienced golfers can play not so good scores. I love watching your videos so please keep them coming.

Woods and greens can make fools of us all.... Mental strength brings us back... Greetings from Oz, we have had so much rain this year that the course's are playing totally different, with no roll out, so "carry" is king..
Liam, you are to be congratulated for having the guts to post this video. It sums up the frustration of competition play . . how difficult it is to maintain consistency, hole to hole, round to round, week by week etc. But most importantly, you demonstrated a positive attitude right to the end (I bet your playing partner appreciated it), identified where your play needed attention AND there is always NEXT TIME!
The better you are at anything the harder you are on yourself. There are many golfers who have never shot an 86 ! Don't beat yourself up but have belief in your ability and with that positive approach your game will come back.

Glad you put this out Liam as this is what the game is all about. I was having a great round this morning until I hit a triple bogey on the 14th and the card went to pot after that. Keep it up as I love every video you put out.

Liam every golfer has either a run of these type of games or a shocker thrown in every now and again. I bought my handicap down from 31 to 21 this year but of late I've had a run of 28 - 31 points per game. It happens and as you know you'll come out of it. Trolls will always find something to troll about - forget them you have many loyal followers who just like what you do. Thanks for the honesty, keep going.
Love your vids. There’s no better way to improve than getting in tournaments. You take your lumps, your mates get theirs jabs in but they respect the man in the arena. Competing forces you to get better as long as you develop a game plan for your weaknesses. All the best. Fan from the states.

Liam - I thought I was playing OK (for me) recently and decided to enter the stableford at the weekend. As you guessed - couldn't hit a barn door. That's golf at club level, mate - feel for you but please keep it coming - it's actually good to see we can all have off games!

Fair play to you Liam putting the video out. I played like that all last year, it is tough going. Went back to basics this year with OMP's way of playing and have won my category 3 out of 6 games. Keep the chin up, it will all come back.

I think you will find the comments will respect you for showing this and proves we cannot play to our best all of the time and go through periods of despair as was written all over you face and body language. That space between our ears has a lot to answer for sometimes in golf! On a lighter note I can’t get round in 86 on a good day so don’t feel so bad, although I am a good bit older than you!

First of all don't worry about the comments anyone giving you negative comments aren't worth it, secondly we all know you can play to your handicap most of the time these rounds just happen I know that feeling more than most. lastly I really enjoyed that format regardless of your score it was good REAL content which we all love, love ya Liam chin up, onwards and upwards.
Mate! We're all golf mates here, no trolls. I had the same thing last Thursday, everything went wrong for me. Thins, fats, snap hooks, the lot. Walked off the course totally dejected, especially as I was going to be playing on Sunday on a new course for my friend's birthday. So I did two things, first of all I watched Danny Maude's latest video and he had a brilliant tip (highly recommend watching the vid) which seemed to pull me back on track. The other thing I did was put down my driver. Ended up playing the best round of my life on Sunday! Got a 14 over 51 which is my record and life is great again! Hang in there mate, you'll be back and keep that smile on your face 😁
Liam love watching you play and thumbs double up for recording the good (Woodhall Spa - on fire that day), bad and ugly. Not easy to watch as you can see your confidence ebbing away and we have all been there. SO hard to stop the rot actually mid round once it sets in. But it's just confidence. You'll be back! Liam every golfer has either a run of these type of games or a shocker thrown in every now and again. I bought my handicap down from 31 to 21 this year but of late I've had a run of 28 - 31 points per game. It happens and as you know you'll come out of it. Trolls will always find something to troll about - forget them you have many loyal followers who just like what you do. Thanks for the honesty, keep going.

Love your vids. There’s no better way to improve than getting in tournaments. You take your lumps, your mates get theirs jabs in but they respect the man in the arena. Competing forces you to get better as long as you develop a game plan for your weaknesses. All the best. Fan from the states.

Liam - I thought I was playing OK (for me) recently and decided to enter the stableford at the weekend. As you guessed - couldn't hit a barn door. That's golf at club level, mate - feel for you but please keep it coming - it's actually good to see we can all have off games!

Everyone of us has had days when our swing abandons us. Liam, you most definitely did all you could to grind on every shot. Much thanks to you and Joe for showing us a brutally honest day on the course!! More competition videos would be great.
Fair play to you Liam putting the video out. I played like that all last year, it is tough going. Went back to basics this year with OMP's way of playing and have won my category 3 out of 6 games. Keep the chin up, it will all come back.

Fair play to you Liam for putting this video out. I think you will find the comments will respect you for showing this and proves we cannot play to our best all of the time and go through periods of despair as was written all over you face and body language. That space between our ears has a lot to answer for sometimes in golf! On a lighter note I can’t get round in 86 on a good day so don’t feel so bad, although I am a good bit older than you!

First of all don't worry about the comments anyone giving you negative comments aren't worth it, secondly we all know you can play to your handicap most of the time these rounds just happen I know that feeling more than most. lastly I really enjoyed that format regardless of your score it was good REAL content which we all love, love ya Liam chin up, onwards and upwards.
Mate! We're all golf mates here, no trolls. I had the same thing last Thursday, everything went wrong for me. Thins, fats, snap hooks, the lot. Walked off the course totally dejected, especially as I was going to be playing on Sunday on a new course for my friend's birthday.
So I did two things, first of all I watched Danny Maude's latest video and he had a brilliant tip (highly recommend watching the vid) which seemed to pull me back on track. The other thing I did was put down my driver.
Ended up playing the best round of my life on Sunday! Got a 14 over 51 which is my record and life is great again! Hang in there mate, you'll be back and keep that smile on your face 😁

Not easy to watch as you can see your confidence ebbing away and we have all been there. SO hard to stop the rot actually mid round once it sets in. But it's just confidence. You'll be back! Head up Liam, everyone has a rough patch and like you say, keep playing. Don’t worry if there are negative comments but stop letting them get in your head, you can’t please everyone. Focus on the support you do have on here instead! I’ve just scrolled through 60 comments and it’s full of support from what I could see, take that energy.
