Why oh why wasn't I told about arm pressure when I've had previous lessons. Played two rounds applying this tip and it's transformed my game. Distance even with winter conditions is awesome. Roll on summer golf. Thanks Simon
good repeat of the old eye opener session with Liam that I shared with all my buddies. Also loved Simon's video where he hit that drive with his feet perpendicular to the target line.
I enjoyed a golf clinic earlier in the year with Simon (and Adam - short game specialist). The instruction was excellent, I never realised before that day that more than hand pressure, it's too much tension in the forearms that kills the swing. Also what Simon emphasised with me, as in this vid is to maintain the same pressure back and through - we all tighten up on the way down and clubface orientation goes out of the window !
Great lesson, and shows the importance of getting lessions that are tailored for your individual swing. ..... On-line tips are great ( yes, I use them too) but you can`t beat a lesson from a good pro like Simon..... And fair play to Nick for trusting the pro and listening.
Absolutely vital lesson from Simon. Amateurs mostly struggle because they are not swinging the club in the first place. They are putting it into positions. It needs to swing freely using gravity and momentum. It cannot be forced.
....watched this yesterday....today I went on the simulator at Farleigh GC in Surrey....Using a 7 iron I hit as I normally do .....150-155 yards and not exactly straight which is what happens on the course....I changed my grip to the overlock...found my 3 arm pressure...WOW!!! with no effort, it was straight consistently and reaching between 165-175 yards....can't wait to get on the course.....Simon this is the best video on youtube....a big thank you to both you and golf mates....brilliant!!!!.........UPDATE Golf Mates....since my first post I've been on the course twice....my official handicap is 14.8 and I shot 10 over on 2 different courses....this really does work!!...I included the "arm pressure routine" when lining up my shot, I also continued using the overlap grip .....Though I didn't always realise the distance I got on the simulator I wasn't too far off....but most importantly my shots were straight or with a baby draw....Thank you again Simon and the Golf Mates team....Brilliant!!!!
Absolutely golden, i think we all tend to make an easy fluid practice swing, then set up to the ball and put the mole grips on, clear concise information first class
What a great lesson def will be trying those tips man is a great old school coach we should all listen to how good was the greek hitting it after that lesson great vid thanks lads
Absolutely perfect blend of information input at the rate we can understand to simp!ify the repeatable action required to improve our ability. Thank you Simon
Using gravity, momentum and arm pressure 3. I set up to the ball and took 3 swings, relaxed and like a pendulum. On the 3rd swing, I hit the ball. A solid strike off the middle of the face. This will now be my practice routine on the range with all clubs and might bring it onto the course. Stick with it, it works! Great simple instruction, as always from Simon well done 👏
Used the arm pressure drill on the course this weekend and got 35 points each day - way better than last weekends 27 & 29 Will keep on it as still reverting to gripping tight under pressure
I've been thinking the same thing. He seems like a classy young man (from the eight or ten comments he has made on the videos) and I think it would be great to see his development as a golfer.
As the English say that was Mint! You know what? Graham and Liam should drag Simon to PRC and Simon could give lessons all week. Would be the busiest week of his year!
I can now clearly see I have too many swing thoughts for my brain to cope with. Everyone talks about grip pressure, not forearm pressure. That was news. Never seen it described in such a simple way. My grip is good, and it’s reassuring to hear my interlocking grip suits my hand size (small) so at least that bit’s right! What’s next, and when?
Not watched yes but this is what I've been hoping for, no disrespect liam but find the mid to high handicap more relatable. Be a good series watching nick the Greek turning into a golfer and taking you and the rest of the boys on.
Well 3 am the old insomnia gene kicked in, it's enough to think about hitting dam ball let alone all this pressure 3 arm, hands 2 sticking to Danny Maude for instruction but golf mates for giggles and fun😊 instruction and golfmates not a good match,,
Love his simplicity. Without over complicating the golf swing…. He is a brilliant coach Simon ⛳️
Wonderful teacher…uncomplicated, stressing fundamentals, no gimmicks
That last golf swing was just awesome - well done both 👏
Why oh why wasn't I told about arm pressure when I've had previous lessons. Played two rounds applying this tip and it's transformed my game. Distance even with winter conditions is awesome. Roll on summer golf. Thanks Simon
Absolutely brilliant Simon, simple and easy to understand, can't wait for the next installment, come on Nick master that lesson,👏👏👍
Wow! What a lesson! I just know this is going to improve my game! Can't wait to start practice! Thanks Simon and of course Liam! ⛳🏌♂️🍻
good repeat of the old eye opener session with Liam that I shared with all my buddies. Also loved Simon's video where he hit that drive with his feet perpendicular to the target line.
Simon is absolutely brilliant man. The way he connects idea to feel is genius
That’s one of the best videos I’ve seen on YT fantastic instructor.

Simon that's one of the best lesson I have watched for awhile brilliant

Big big bit of gold there
This is BRILLIANT never ever have I seen such a CLEAR SIMPLE instruction OMG finally I now understand GOLF....THANK YOU...from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

So true
One of the best lessons I’ve seen

Well said
Already commented on this yesterday but took this lesson out on the course today and played the best golf I have played in a long time.

Great lesson Simon and Nick. Taking this to the range.

Absolutely golden, i think we all tend to make an easy fluid practice swing, then set up to the ball and put the mole grips on, clear concise information first class
What an amazingly simple way of looking at the golf swing.
Great video Golfmates!!
What a great lesson def will be trying those tips man is a great old school coach we should all listen to how good was the greek hitting it after that lesson great vid thanks lads
Simon is brilliant. So simple. I wish I lived nearer him! It will be great to see Nick out with Liam, Steve and Pete when Simon has finished with him.
I can't wait to get out to the range to try these tips and see if it improves my iron shots. Great video Simon!
Wow. Never heard of arm pressure before. This was great. Definitely going to be trying this
Can’t wait to try this out. Just what I need right now. Thanks Simon.
Brilliant video!
Brilliant lesson Simon, thank you
A very good lesson
Absolutely perfect blend of information input at the rate we can understand to simp!ify the repeatable action required to improve our ability. Thank you Simon
Thanks Simon and Liam-really enjoy this quality series-great job !!😊
Great tuition Simon a lot of golfers can benefit from this video

Simon makes things so simple & not too many steps to follow in the process
Absolutely cracking stuff and great to Nik the Greek in front of the camera.
Loved this....more please 😊
Used the arm pressure drill on the course this weekend and got 35 points each day - way better than last weekends 27 & 29
Will keep on it as still reverting to gripping tight under pressure
Pure Gold!
Awesome coach/teacher.
Good to see rapid improvement
It was brilliant
Great video, brilliant idea showing some footage of the team behind the cameras learning to play.
Great video!
That arm pressure tip is gold ..worked a charm for me...ball striking and accuracy drastically improved.🎉
Absolutely brilliant Simon thank you.

I've been thinking the same thing. He seems like a classy young man (from the eight or ten comments he has made on the videos) and I think it would be great to see his development as a golfer.
Quality, thank you
Great advice Simon
Great interesting uncomplicated lesson
What an instructor 🫡
EXCELLENT 👏👏👏
Awesome video 💪🏻👍🏻😎simon makes it very easy to understand thanks simon 👊🏻😜
As the English say that was Mint! You know what? Graham and Liam should drag Simon to PRC and Simon could give lessons all week. Would be the busiest week of his year!

Brilliant, simple, might break o0 yet, great instructor. The Seeing is the Doing. Namaste 🙏 ❤
Well done Nick
Thanks Simon, I hope this will help me, it certainly can't hurt! 😂
Great lesson…. You’re going to be in trouble Liam!
That blind guy did really well 👍
Good that. Would be good to see Nick doing a couple of holes after a lesson.
I can't wait to try this out at the range. Sounds so simple, can it be true!! Proof is in the video...
Yes, tension is always a killer for me.
Great Communicator
Great video to help. As a higher handicap player, just wondering would this process help with driver as well
You obviously didn't watch the video properly because he answered
He is brilliant 👏 😊r you watching liam 😂
I had a lesson
Great vid. Better swing that you Liam. 😉
Great video. When do we get to see Nick in a video instead of behind the camera. Watch out Mr B there's a new kid in town 😅
Already tried it in my garage , turns out i needed an overlap grip not the interlock . Cant wait to hit the range and get used to it .
The practice swings are great BUT I always end up clenching (increasing arm/grip pressure) at impact - Any tips on how to stop that ????
❤
Thank you
I can now clearly see I have too many swing thoughts for my brain to cope with. Everyone talks about grip pressure, not forearm pressure. That was news. Never seen it described in such a simple way. My grip is good, and it’s reassuring to hear my interlocking grip suits my hand size (small) so at least that bit’s right! What’s next, and when?
Wish i could take him with me each time i play hahahaha
Not watched yes but this is what I've been hoping for, no disrespect liam but find the mid to high handicap more relatable. Be a good series watching nick the Greek turning into a golfer and taking you and the rest of the boys on.
Absolutely agree
Ha Liam very relatable to since a mid handicapper and Mr Barlow even higher,,,but a newb intro will give us lots of tips we've forgotten
Well 3 am the old insomnia gene kicked in, it's enough to think about hitting dam ball let alone all this pressure 3 arm, hands 2 sticking to Danny Maude for instruction but golf mates for giggles and fun😊 instruction and golfmates not a good match,,
