Always one of my favourite Christmas songs, especially in its original, uncensored version. So, so glad it was sung in its original form here. Rest in peace.
This lady Lisa O'Neill is the the only one for me comes near to the great Kirsty McColl singing this great song THANK YOU KIRSTY @ SHANE GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.
I worked many pubs/Irish pubs in uk in my younger years, the fun & music , Irish dancing on tables to the Pogues... Only the Irish can party like this. Thx Shane for all those happy times ! Rip ya mad fkr!
That moment when you see Victoria stand up and start to dance… It’s tears and smiles and sorrow and laughter and everything in between. Thank you Shane for having stopped by on this planet for a while, you’ve made it a so much better place in all respects, so happy we happened to be here at the same time as you! Truly a blessing! 🙏🏻♥️☘️
I agree, this turned out to be not only a magical performance at the funeral but also an improvised tribute to the Irish culture and nation. It moves me almost to tears every single time.
What a send off for a fabulous poet. No one could do it any better than the Irish!! A truly amazing tribute to a nan whose music will be sung for ever. RIP. Shane, rest well x

It is heartbreaking I never realized a person could make me feel more proud to be Irish. I lost my little Irish mum 2 years ago aged 96 and this feels like almost the same feeling as that. And at Christmas a Christmas song to top it all. R.I.P. Shane.
The Irish sure know how to say farewell ❤ this made me cry tears of joy and sorrow simultaneously. Rest easy Mr MacGowan and thank you 🙏 so very much for all the beautiful music you left us to enjoy. There will never be another Shane. Much love to you, your family and friends ❤
Unglaublich und ergreifend…wie aus einer Trauerfeier ein wunderbares weihnachtliches Miteinander werden kann. Danke an die tollen Interpreten. Es ist ein Gänsehaut-Video!

Sadly both Singers are gone now but because of this great and famous song we will always remember in this time of the year! Thank you so much for this treasure!!!
My Nans favorite Christmas Song and was from Dublin. Whe she died during Covid and her family came over from Dublin it was so similar. The Irish celebrate life like no others. RIP Shane. ❤️

So true, it was sang the way it was meant to be. I hate this over sensitive crap. it was sang the way Shane wrote it Amen. 👍
The anti-Pope will remember this.
As a gay man, we never asked for it to be censored and its wonderful to hear it as it was written.

Bless you all for not changing the lyrics for this occasion. That would have been betrayal.
It's not often you will see a Pogues performance in a Catholic church mass, but when Shane Macgowan passes away they make an exception in Ireland.
One of the best tributes for Shane and the christmas song. ❤️❤️🎸🇸🇪☮️
