- Here's Why The Toyota Raize G Makes More Sense than the Raize Turbo! [Car Feature]
The 2022 Toyota Raize G CVT is the middle spec trim of the local Toyota Raize line up. The 2022 Toyota Raize G CVT seems to make more sense than the top-spec 2022 Toyota Raize Turbo. In this Filipino Car Review, we take a tour of the 2022 Toyota Raize G CVT, and see why it is better than the 2022 Toyota Raize Turbo. The 2022 Toyota Raize G CVT may be closer to the base trim Toyota Raize E, but it does get a few more creature comforts here and there.

Thanks for featuring all three Raize models sir Reygan. Hopefully you get to drive one of them out on the road soon!
Mr. Reygan you're one of the best car review blogger
Salamat! 👍👍
Very well detailed review Sir!Thanks!
I love how you showed the color yellow wigo in the vid, it will give us an idea how bigger Raize is.
Boss reygan, Please kindly review also the E CVT variant of this car Raize. Thanks
Could you do a Test Drive on the Toyota Raize 1.2 MT ? Planning to buy that variant.
Okay po kaya sya sa hatakan at akyatan if may sakay na 2 or 3 passengers..salamat sir,
i like this guy's style.. walk away and fade in.
Nice Review!
which do you prefer kia stonic LX or Raize E?
Sir, which is fuel economical? the G or the turbo?
I like that you did this in English language. I wish you would talk more about the cvt transmission. Cvt transmissions have a very bad name so did Toyota or diahatsu who makes the car do anything different?
Hey, dude, pare, any thoughts regarding toyota DTC (direct to consumer) marketing strategy this coming 2025? Can you please make a content regarding that? Main concern is toyota`s car will be lower in price by 20-30%. Thank you.
Any news update on Yaris Cross?
Thank u,Reygan👏👏👏
👍👍👍
Practically speaking, turbo is an impending huge expense. The best value for money is the E CVT/ E MT. A driver wouldn't need that many unecessary feats found on the G and turbo, aside from the lights though.
For a driver yes. But for a family maybe they'd want the side curtain air bags that come with the turbo model. The other variants only have the front and passenger air bag if I'm not mistaken.
@@ginab.r.8132 wont disagree with that 👍 Great point 🥰
How about small drivers bro? The height adjustment seat is only found on the G variants. You basically add a few more cash to get the height adjustment + other tech features.
Hyundai Venue vs Kia Stonic vs Toyota Raize review?
'Loved the TOTL-like features and very handsome look. I actually cancelled my Toyota Raize car purchase in order to get this crossover babe instead. : )
ive been trying to decide bet the G variant and E CVT and listing pros and cons LOL.. one of the things i was thinking abt is the digital dash board and push to start feature in the long term maintainance.. my current car is similar to the e variant so i dont know much about how those are when it comes to long term maintainance. like since the g variant its keyless, you wont be able to use it if theres a problem with the push to start? has there been any long term issues with other toyota cars with digital dashboard and keyless push to start buttons?
Hi there, I planning but one of these Raize model but i am not sure which one: 1.0 with turbo or 1.2 ...i am inclining to 1.2 variant just to avoid the turbo related maintances and choosing less fancy features .... you said you have the E Variant ....i want your comment on 1) does the CVT or the engine get heat up on long drive or uphill drive for long time( ^^20 min) 2) how is the power on uphill?
I am decided. I am getting this variant. No more second thoughts 😇
Congratulations on your new Daihatsu Rocky 😁

Nice...
Does the E Manual & E CVT have the same exterior, interior and features? Thank you 🙏
check the channel of real ryan
Yes pero hubad lang si E talaga go for the G .. you may check Sarah Marie Paus Toyota Bacoor Cavite Inc
It's mileage ?
So much choice for this price point
Overpriced ...under powered
Rey can you make a comparison between raize 1.2 g vs avanza 1.5 g . Im torn between, i think ur the who can clear the air. Gracias, im from Zamboanga City.
There will be a new avanza by next month, may be best to wait for that to come out.
Kaya?
@@jaimecabayacruz5118 that's what im interested to know. din po Sir?

Bakit nga kasi walang RED sa Turbo? 🥺
Is it just me? Or the paint job under the hood and engine bay was done in a lousy way? See at the 7:04 mark... they look off for me... Again, maybe its just me...
5 seater?
I don't have any idea about cars but planning to get one of this..This one have Automatic?
Yes, it is a cvt, which is automatic. 👍
1:37 lol hahahaha! :D
1.0 turbo for that extra 2 second 0 to 100 boost
Hyundai venue or this?
Was going to buy a Raize Turbo but Toyota told me I’m at the bottom of their queue because they’re prioritizing buyers will take up a car loan, especially if it’s TFS. So I went ahead and bought an MG HS and love it (despite its known transmission flaws).
But Raize is a good-looking car indeed even when it has no toys in the second row.
I cannot comprehend opting for a car with a compromised transmission because of 'toys' in the back seat.
@@xd1be9nb7v I already bought it before Caco mentioned about his transmission concerns. I didn’t say I bought it despite its transmission flaws. What I meant was that I love it despite of that flaw, and have already learned how to drive it well.
CHR for me👍
I don’t agree to that. The trend now are Turbo to smaller engine specs making the naturally aspirated v8 and v6 engine only a waste of money. Check it out I know Honda and Ford resorted turbo to small engine
So am curious how does it ride? How’s the car suspension over pothole roads?
Hopefully driving video of the Raize G coming soon...
How many gears ang tranny sa G?
Which one is more fuel efficient with the 1.0 Turbo?
1.2 variant is more fuel efficient but the Turbo is still good in fuel economy.
Sir lahat ba ng g variant front wheel drive wala pong rare wheel drive?
Front wheel ang Raize sa pinas
Great review series for the Raize lodi, more power to you bud! But seriously, that "NO ENGINE TEMP GAUGE" for all their models is a deal breaker for me imho, how could you really not have a way of knowing whats your engine temp with these vehicles, very odd indeed?! Or is it maybe found in the lcd infotainment console in "Vehicle Info" tab....doubt it, anyways its a miss for me with this over sight! wait for the 2.0 lolss...
It simply means that you don't need one since it's a toyota. Maybe it's their way of saying, our models do not overheat.
@@kbpaano2006 hehe thanks for the reply, but that does not fly with me though, deal breaker ill make a pass thank you lols…cheers!
@@phvdg40 Toyota doesn't include any engine temperature gauge in all their models. Some have been wondering why. And I, too, wonder. But if you think about it, Toyota will never compromise their image just by excluding an important feature.
@@kbpaano2006 oh really didnt know that, thought its a standard feature in every car out there lols, but if thats the case then they must have a logical reason for taking it out, coz really for me it doesnt make any sense for it being not present at all diba…?! So weird lols, anywho thanks again cheers!
@@phvdg40 Same irr. Haha Feeling ko nakaka-worry mag long drive kase walang temp gauge. Hehe Cheers!
Geely Coolray Base Model vs Toyota Raize G CVT Who would win?
Even the turbo variant, I still choose the Coolray Comfort same price but Coolray has more features and engine advantage.
Toyota fanboy, we will see the durability later lol...
@@DA-fr1qp ill go with trash with long standing reliability than made in china crap
So how can the temp gauge issue be solved? I think that is very important
Get a vehicle that has one. 👍😉
My Daihatsu sirion does not have guage but do have light indicator. It will light up when its overheating... And will blink when overheated... So you have time to response. That has been their design since 2006
It might not have a temp gauge but it will notify you if the car is close to overheating on the dash.
I owned 2 turbo vehicle already and I will never buy another turbo again, there are more parts that can go wrong and more expensive to fix...just not worth the hype
Meow hi
No engine cover sa ilalim...

Sir is this ideal for uphill ,downhill places of routine travels ?
CVT has the tendency to have a rubber band effect. You will understand what i mean when you have driven one.
@@haroldnavarro9055Sir, you mean , it will/might roll back ? esp. when it is loaded.
@@haroldnavarro9055 it has hill start assist, and it is a DCVT

I think this raise G 1.2L cvt engine is underpower compare to Avanza.
Nice review but it’s not rocking my boat
Good content and nice flow. However, the fake laughs are a bit awkeard and cut the fluidity and attention points of the viewer.
parang ayaw ibenta yung turbo or wala lang silang turbo unit sa kanila haha
Exactly right idol... Nobody needs turbos, unless you're a racer.. All of my vehicles are naturally aspirated.. Never driven a turbo all my life.
Turbos are actually better in fuel efficiency.
Right.....if you are in a populated area like manila,, you do not need turbo
Turbo provide power when you need it, in effect increased safety.... Notice the that torque band is very wide you dont need to floor your accelerator of you need the power... Of course thats saves fuel...lots of fuel
@@felicianofarrales4142 Autodeal tested the Turbo vs the 1.2G, and the 1.2G had better fuel efficiency
If you have never driven a car w/ a turbo then how do you know? For racing only... How dumb is that statement? Yung isuzu crosswind ba na turbo diesel pang racing ba yun?
Raize 1.2g is hybrid car ? Pls ?
No it is gasoline fuel
If G variant po, worth it po na price difference neto sa E variant?
Mostly convenience features lang difference nya.
@@ReygansRides also its Matic transmission
Features and a little bit of their aesthetics lng ang difference. Even if I have extra budget i'd go with the e cvt or e manual.
The more feats a car has means a higher maintenance cost. And, does a driver really need these extra feats?
@@chloea7162 tnx for your feedback. E CVT na kinuha ko :)
Which do you prefer ,the Dzire or Raise? Sa performance ng speed and fuel efficiency?
Dzire. 👍
A bit bigger than Spresso
Dalawa lang pala airbag ng raize G? Same with E? Akala ko anim kagaya ng turbo. 🤦♂️
Toyota Raize G is the same engine in the Toyota Raize E
This good looking car deserves atleast a 1.5 engine imo.
1.2L not enough power.
@@marhead47 try driving it first. I doubt you'll notice that you're operating a 1.2l..
@@chloea7162 already did.
When launch in India
Get the TURBO! You will not remember the extra 125k you pay after 2 years. The added features are worth it.
Hayaan mo sila mag agawan sa NA version. Joking aside, yes turbo is the way to go. That 1.2L NA is just underpowered.
Rather get the top spec avanza instead of the raize turbo
@@kakashi1300not everyone wants the Avanza G. naiconsider ko na rin magkuha ng Avanza G before pero i don't really need a 7 seater no matter how hard i try to gaslight myself na baka kailanganin ko.
The lack of body colour paint under the hood and in the engine compartment looks cheap
the best option would have to be MT. lols
Anong height mo sir?
5' 6"
Moooo~ hahahahaha!
Fuel consumption is a big joke for a new tech 1.2 engine
Napakadami engine choices... 🤔🤔🤔 Ang hirap pumili... 😵😵😵
When you want to have a more reliable engine then the 1.2 engine it is, but the 1.0 turbo gets better fuel efficiency
@@danilorivera6052 has anyone done a fuel efficiency comparo of the two?
@@EmjayDTube Yup sa Topgear may article sila na title: "2022-toyota-raize-fuel-consumption" :)
Not comparo sorry. pero sabi sa article, sa toyota mismo is 18.9km/L yung 1.2 CVT & 17.9km/L 1.0 turbo CVT. Mastipid lng konti yung 1.2 :)
For long drive yes due to its efficient power delivery without interference but in traffic specially in bumper to bumper traffic? turbo gasoline is as thirsty as V6 Naturally aspirated gasoline
PS i owned a turbo gasoline car
I still prefer my 1.2L 4cylinders engine. A 3 cylinder engine turns me off.
Hehehe I don’t buy car without temperature gauge lol 😆.sorry
BRIO THE BEST! 1.2L 4 cylinder!!
Yeah, I agree. Brio by far has the best performance amongst 1.2's. But the raize offers so much which made it even harder to choose against thr brio..
