It wasn't like that at all, Dragonflyman was just a competent and effective on either Earth. If they make a tv adaptation of this they could add in an Earth: Omega version of Triviac that’s a lot like The Batman’s version of The Riddler, making him the next big Antagonist after Number 1 dies.
This is f**king hilarious. I love how campy Fly. Has a “it’s simple really” explanation for getting point blank shot. And at the end, they’re both sorta on the same page. Also your right, the execution wasn’t perfect. Even by having a narrator.

Update: Just finished the first book. Holy hell was that a fun ride! I was hooked from the premise alone but that first issue locked me in and I'm enthralled now. Also also Earth Omega Dragonfly seems more like Batfleck than Battinson.
It a unique series. Both of Marvel and DC have had stories like this but not to this extent. How many archetypes could you do this with besides Batman?

You should read more of these super meta superheroes comics, my recommendation are maximortal and Flex Mentallo: Man of Muscle Mystery and even marshal law

Yeah I was fully expecting Dragonflyman to die from the police shooting but thankfully good writing prevailed.
It seems Dragonfly only killed that crook cause he was gonna kill Stinger. As long as Stinger isn't in danger, Dragonfly may be less kill happy.
