hi guys ! I am so happy to finally post this video.
I met Rosie when I was pregnant and she has been such a support. the first time I met her I remember thinking how real she was. I instantly had a crush on her.

remember when her lips used to look so huge compared to everyone else. now they look normal or even small because everyones lips are huge.

But they look so much better now. She already has naturally full lips. The oversized upper lip looked weird.

Glitter from the brand called "I connect with" is craft glitter. It may be one thing to use such a product on yourself, but an entirely different story when you start applying it on someone else's eye area. This comment does not aim at offending anyone, but solely functions as a note on responsibility and safety, especially when such misuse of a product is being portrayed on social media.
I thought I was trippin, when I saw that it was craft glitter... Isn't it supposed to be food grade, so you don't cut your eye?
Germaine R. I saw that and thought wtf!? glitter is not safe around the eye and can cause serious damage.
I would be VERY hesitant to put craft glitter that close to the waterline...the effect is beautiful but it could cause damage to your eye!

Agreed... Cosmetic grade is quite affordable. I was floored when she pulled out the craft glitter. Generally it is not the cleanest and the edges are sharper. A rare misstep for this channel.

I think she was making a joke. She once showed and described all her pigments (which she collects) and they are cosmetic grade. She just keeps them in large containers because she’s experimenting a lot with colour.

She’s always been stunning but she’s def had surgery and skincare like lasers, peels, etc. Also looks like eyelash extensions

Did you not see that horrific imgur post from the woman who lost her eye due to the sharp edges of a piece of craft glitter cutting her eye and allowing the bacteria on the glitter in? Or Temptalia having to go to a 24hr doctor recently to have glitter removed from her eye? This is not something you should be making a RUclips tutorial about, no glitter is 100% eye safe but craft glitter is the worst and even cosmetic grade glitter should be used with glue to minimise fallout, this video is so irresponsible.

You're reposting, but you did not take the opportunity to address the issue of eye safety with craft glitter? Well, just to reiterate what I commented on the original video: Craft glitter (even fine ones) are generally not approved for use on the eye area, and they can have sharp corners or edges that can scratch the eye, and worst case can lead to infections. Furthermore, the MAC glitter is, according to MAC's website, not approved for use as an eyeliner, and is only approved for eye use with a glitter glue. Additionally, most glitters are made of plastic, so I would very much have liked Violette to advice on how to properly remove glitter so that it does not end up adding to micro-plastic pollution of the waterways.
Henriette Englev I would honestly refrain from putting any glitter on my eyes at all, even ones considered to be eye-safe still have a risk. I’ve heard of women losing sight because they used non eye-safe glitter and it’s horrifying.
One way to limit how much of the glitter (plastic) goes down the drain is to remove it with Scotch/cello tape:
gently apply a piece of the tape to the lid and repeat until it’s mostly gone.
This technique also helps limits the amount of scratching the glitter can do to the skin and prevents it getting into the eye. Learned this trick from @TrixieMattel.

Don't put craft glitter anywhere near your eyes. Don't use something you use on your lips on your eyes. Use appropiate glitter adhesive or eyelash glue.
And don't advertise dangerous practices on youtube.

@@sophiedevereaux6967 Nothing will happen if you put glitter on your lips. You might ingest some, but you will poop it out and will be fine. Things might be different if you ingest a big amount, but a couple of pieces won't cause damage. But the eyes are a whole different story. A single piece can scratch your cornea.

kruselka that’s me all over. My skin is decent , but I do need coverage. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation in my skin ( I have the Celtic “ high color “ and it gets “ ruddy “ looking when I get sick ) That’s when I know I need extra around my nose especially. ( from rubbing against my nose )

If beauty is a state of mind and eveybody is beautiful inside bladibla, then why do you only feature posh young women who all fit the social and aesthetic norms you claim to move away from?
Hi! We just can't choose or put anybody in the "does fit" or "doesn't fit" categories. You should accept everbody even if to your opinion they do answer to society's standards. I don't know if you get what I mean here. It's ironic. It is in fact creating new standards, which is wrong ; like the "good" type of beauty is the one not reffering to the norms. It's like the whole body thing. Some people want body diversity and pretend to glorify "all" body types, but reject skinnier people and those who are "fitting" the norms. You forget that some people are actually, naturally skinny and it's just fine, same for beauty. The state of mind is more about acceptance, letting people be who they truly are and shine that exact way, than creating categories of people, those who fit or those who don't. I send you love here okay, and hope you won't find any harm in this, juste a way to find peace with the situation. Sorry for the not so good English, I'm French :).

Basma Shaham She removed mention of using craft glitter (which is made of metal as opposed to eye-safe PET/plastic cosmetic glitter) bc a lot of folks commented on how dangerous it is to use glitter that isn’t approved for the eye area.
If you google you can find a horrifying story of a mom who got craft glitter in her eye by accident and ended up losing her eye after a series of infections caused by the glitter tearing her eye 😱
