The worst thing we can do as humans is to blame our circumstances for our poor decision making. The hubby might be a terrible husband but the wife is the one that chose to cheat knowing that even though the husband is cheating her actions are going to weigh more in the eyes of the society. These issues favour men and that societal context should be understood (it's not confined to the African culture). Will/should the society change its view pertaining to this, i don't know. But we all make mistakes and the best that we can get from the experience is to learn from them.
