@@cafecito_cream Gordon Ramsey is nothing but understanding and realistic. He knows the ins-and-outs of how a restaurant functions that an average irate customer wouldn’t know. So of course, he will be kind to the servers. He’s actually nice in real life. He criticizes people who deserve it. But it’s more so of the sake of tough love with a side of entertainment of course. lol
@@cafecito_cream Customer is served by them, and they are who the customer interacts with. Servers take the brunt of the problems that the kitchen make.
That the customer can often be a complete tosser is not really the point. It's that the people with the least culpability that get the most blame.
Agreed. Once in a while I've had some truly awful servers, but that's the exception to the rule. For the most part, they do not deserve the abuse they get. Having been in that role once upon a time, I appreciate the risk they take having to deal with the public.

The whole thing is a waitress is somebody that brings things to you from the kitchen they have no control over how it's cooked if it's cooked enough or prepared well they just serve. And serving people is difficult when they can't grasp the fact that you didn't go back there and make the meal yourself. You headed to take it over to the people responsible for cooking I've been a waitress that sucks

@@kimmystewart6959the waitresses I worked with who had a lot of experience would sometimes say I forgot things or should up the size, I was a kitchen assistant, only made lunch, apple pie and preperations though, I was a newbie and did this volunteraly (no pay check) for like a year to get some experience only got 1-2 things sent back but sadly because of personal problems I had to stop so I didn't really grow further maybe some day, but I'm not 100% sure if I can do it because I'm quite slow and get distracted fast 😅

I remember one in particular where he loved every dish and loved the chef it was a jamaican restaurant its been to long can't remember the episode but the problem he fixed with them was showing the owner how to proportion the rations so the business can stay a float I believe she was just giving to much food to the customers but he loved the food and the team
My boss thought she'd throw a report at me because she was upset. The look on her face when I piffed it back a lot harder was priceless. Don't hit your staff with anything. Also, most staff are disgruntled enough that they need very little incentive to knock the boss down.
That woman is a nightmare. Really manipulative. That marriage is over.
People for some reason always think Gordon will show up, they'll serve him some food from their failing business and Gordon will love it and kiss their asses.

Sous-vide is not some excuse for poor quality. It should mean that everything is much more controlled, but for some reason this guy thinks it means frozen.
If he cooked that 'sous-vide' product (in that case a huge lump of pork) to order, Gordon would have a very long wait to eat. The chef doesn't even know what the term means!
It's more likely it is precooked, frozen, then reheated in a microwave 'to order'.

The worst is overcharging. Most restaurants do that now. I stopped going out to sit down restaurants because one, the food is small portions. Standard taste. yet supper size costs .

Dandelion is a pretty common ingredient in fine dining. Also, edible seasonal flowers are a big part of New Nordic cuisine (a style of cooking that Gordon himself has been increasingly adopting in his more upscale restaurants over the past few years)
