- Sky News host Andrew Bolt says unbelievable scenes were seen today when ABC Managing Director David Anderson fronted politicians to defend the national broadcaster’s “stunning bias”.
“What a farce. Including an amazing admission about that ABC report that claimed a meeting of Alice Springs residents was full of white supremacists - turned out the reporter wasn't even there,” he said.
Mr Bolt focused on three examples from Mr Anderson’s appearance at Senate Estimates on Tuesday that should make every Liberal and Nationals MPs realise the ABC is “out of control”.
“The rest of us should be alarmed and disgusted that our taxes are funding such a left-wing propaganda outfit,” Mr Bolt said.
“Mr Anderson, do you even listen to what your paid propagandists put to air?”
The ABC is not fit for purpose. Actually, it's an expensive menace. Sell it!

Being a reporter is the one job I can think of where the minute you demonstrate ANY bias you should be sacked. You're useless to anyone. The job description is LITERALLY to give millions of people an objective unbiased report of WHAT THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN IF THEY WERE THERE. Shameful. *FIRE THEM!*

I'd be very sceptical and suspicious that Miss Williams was not inside, or could not hear the meeting as it took place. What is worse than her not actually being in the building? Her actually being in the meeting and a direct witness but reporting it the way she did. More investigation should be conducted on photos taken within the meeting to ascertain whether she was present.
Anderson has used the same words to snowjob other glaringly false reports. " Checks and balances in place did not pick up the report before it went to air. ". Anderson stock answer to mistakes that should result in the people concerned being sacked .

I used to listen to the ABC RN programme in the morning but lately all they can talk about is 'the Voice'. I have to agree with you on this one Andrew. Sounds and looks like from the video footage that Alice Springs is more lawlwss than Dodge City was in the 1880's.
