    I understand what you're saying but I am willing to challenge your theory and prove that hallow blocks has a better advantage over solid blocks for structural and foundation walls

      Solid block can be used in foundation area or wherever required rigid wall for plumbing lines, parapet walls, below plinth etc
      Solid block is better option than red bricks in foundation

    I have heard the cores in hollow block need filling with concrete for reinforcement, otherwise it remains weak and seismic performance is bad. But if if the cores are filled with concrete, then it becomes the same as solid blocks, right? Then what is the difference?

    • @DNDConstruction
      @DNDConstruction  3 года назад +2

      No it's not like this
      If you want to do partition walls you can use Hollow blocks nothing will happen
      If u want to do solid block work were load is coming like plinth level, or small earth retaining or load is coming on wall that situation you can use solid block work and you can make hollow block as solid by filling cores with mortar
